Multiple car rental reservations questions

Just wondering if anyone else does this. I was going to keep 2 different car reservations with 2 different companies. I have the first one at Dollar at Wyhndham and the second one at Alamo at the CCC. I want to do the one at the CCC, but if I have trouble with the AS1 code with the $50 coupon, I can go to dollar as a back up.
Dollar doesn't have my CC info so they can't charge my card, but can they bill me if I don't cancel. I have rented with Alamo in the past and reserved with my insiders#...can they charge me if I don't rent with them?

They probably won't charge you, but read the T&C for your reservation. But please reconsider keeping the two reservations. It affects overall pricing, as well as availability for other potential renters.

Let us know how the AS1 goes. I just reserved a car with Alamo using AS1 and also have a car with Dollar. I want to make sure there won't be a problem with Alamo before I cancel with Dollar.

Will do. I keep checking rates but now they show no convertibles at the CCC. I got a Mustang convertible for the week for under $200. I was going to do the midsize for $100 but were going to be doing some driving and it's cool and it is vacation.
Do you go with only 1 ressie or will you keep 1 with each company?
