Multiple BRP rooms at checkin?

For those that have returned from thier trip & using the BRP system with multiple room reservations. I have 3 rooms reserved. How did the payment at checkin workout with 3 different parties paying for their own room? I have the AP & used it to reserve the 3 reservations.

When I tried to get an additional room (for my nephew and wife) CM said that I was not able to get a BRP rate for him. They said the additional room had to be for a family memeber who resided in my home.

Just a warning to others, this is not true. I suspect that the reason I could not get another room was availability, but beware of CM's answers, they are not always correct.

I do have a ressie with AAA for him, he has to pay for the room and will reimburse (sp) me for the downpayment. He has to have a AAA card in order to get the rate at check-in, this is not a problem.

I would like to know, too. I have 3 rooms in February. I am the AP holder and check in on Friday, the next day (Saturday) Sister and her family check in for the other two rooms. I know I have to be at check in with them, but sure hope they can put everything on their credit card! CMs that I talked to said that we would change the names at check in.

Could it be that you were inside the BRP window. Or did you call & try to get the BRP for the nephew? CRO cannot give you the BRP over the phone. It must be done online.
