Multi-year banking questions

DVC member for over 10 years but never banked a significant amount of points! However, other vacation plans this year (& probably 2023) so thinking of taking another Aulani trip in 2024. Does DVC have any maximum banking regulations? (We will wait until right before banking window to make the transaction) For instance, HGVC only allows you to bank for one year so basically you can only take two years worth of points to put towards any stay. Thanks in advance!

You can bank one year’s worth of points and borrow one year’s points so can have a maximum of 3 year’s points to spend in a single year. IOW, for 2024 you could use 2023, 2024 and 2025 points.

Borrowing is currently limited to 50%.

For banking, you can only get one extra year out of the points.

Oops, sorry @ngl, forgot that! Hopefully, by the time you’re 11 months out from your 2024 trip, we’ll be back to borrowing 100%!

Banking and borrowing are final transactions.

As the others said, you can bank a set of points one UY forward. If you have not used them to complete a stay by the end of that new UY, they disappear into the void.
