My DD's friends are staying with us for 2 nights, one of which will be an E-night. They only plan to buy one park/one ticket for each of the days they will be with us. Can they participate in E-night?

no, they don't meet the criteria.

Why wouldn't they meet the criteria? If they are staying on property, and have an admission ticket for that day (used to enter MK) why couldn't they participate in E-nights??

This is a quote taken from Deb Wills' site:

"Can anyone purchase a ticket to Magic Kingdom E-Ride Nights ?

Disney Resort Guests, Hotel Plaza Blvd. Guests, Swan, Dolphin and Shades of Green Guests with multi-day passes can purchase a ticket for an after-hours party in the Magic Kingdom Park.

Offer good only for Disney Resort Guests with the following multi-day
tickets: Ultimate Park Hopper, Park Hopper Plus, Park Hopper, Seasonal
Pass, Annual Pass, Premium Annual Pass. You must have used your pass on the day of the event in order to gain entry. "

Although I'm not quite sure why a one day pass wouldn't work if that pass was used that day at the Magic Kingdom?? Anyone have the specifics on why the requirements say "multi-day pass" instead of just "Disney resort guest"?

I have heard that sometimes they let one day tickets buy the eticket. They are suppose to check your ticket when you buy, but sometimes the CM just does not do it and you might get lucky. However, are these one day guest registered in your hotel room. You will need to register them in a Disney room to get an e-ticket.

Yes, they'll be registered in our room. I plan to call DVC Monday and let them know.
I think we'll try to get them the e-night tickets, if we are unable, we'll think of something else to do. We're flexible.

I'm a little confused. Right now I have ressie for on property for 10 days. We were planing to buy 6 day PHP and the rest of the days use the "pluses"., take a side trip etc.

When I heard about MNSSHP I thought "great, we can do this on a day we don't use our PHP to go into the parks" but is that wrong?

I thought the admission (about $30) seemed fair enough for the 5 hours or so for the MNSSHP.

Do I need to use my PHP that day in order to get into MNSSHP?

TIA

Also going out on a limb here..

I'm guessing there are no E-Nights During Oct/Nov when MNSSHP is going on, Right?

Thanks again

MNSSHP is a separate ticketed event which includes park admission. You won't have to use your regular pass to get in.

E-Ticket nights are different. You're paying for the use of a few rides after regular hours. The cost of park admission is not included, so you must use your regular multi-day pass to enter.

As for whether there will be e-ticket nights--who knows? I've attended in years when they had them in addition to MNSSHP and years when they didn't.
