Muddy Buddy Training!

Hey, I just noticed that the Muddy Buddy Orlando is SOLD OUT!!!
I saw that...I was surprised it was sold out. I thought I read somewhere that last years did not sell out.

Just checked it out, its also the largest of the muddy buddys at 1750 teams.
Quite the crowd. They'd better watch out for Team BEAST!!!

Holy cow...is there going to be enough parking?
I hope they enough space to cover our Muddy Buddy cheer section! :cheer2:

My last three days have been great for training, but my energy is low today! Someone quick talk me into going out for a nice "cool down run" of 1.5 miles!! Hurry before its dark and I sit on the couch!

Darn...It's too late. It's dark. Sorry Puck! The best I can do is tell you to go find a treadmill somewhere and cool down.....So.....Go do that. :upsidedow

I managed to pull my hiney off the couch! I went 1.5 run and 3 mile bike and got it just before dark!! YEA!!

I've been running on empty this week. The girls have off of school this week for spring break, and I've been on Daddy duty. I've been taking them down to work with me and juggling kid duty with work duty. It's been pretty exhausting. I've still gotten my runs in though. Did another 3 miles on the TM yesterday.

I'm here. I've been 'practicing' by alternating running and biking. Unfortunately its at the gym, but I am hoping to change that before next weekend. Is there such thing as over hydrating? I drink a copious amount of water normally. But I consume even more while running. How much is too much?

When you're running along and pee starts running down your leg... that's when you're drinking too much.

It's almost impossible for a healthy person to over hydrate Todd. Your body will let you know when you've had enough. It does happen but it's very rare. Keep drinking water. Most people don't drink nearly enough. :thumbsup2

Good Advice!

This week I took at easy a little as I was very exhausted on MTW. I did my Lifting on Monday and Cardio on Tuesday, and took of Wednesday and Thursday. Yesterday, I was stretching and I pulled my left shoulder a little out of joint, but after I went to the chiropractor I am fine now. Ice and Motrin last night helped greatly and now I am back on track.

This mormning, woo hoo, I did the following workout:

1.25 mile bike
1.25 mile run
1.25 mile bike
1.25 mile run

It felt really good, and I am not sore and tight like last time. I am also breathing better than past runs, so I really feel that this is going to be an awesome race. My pace is not the fastest, but it is steady and I did not stop to walk until the end during my cool down.

I can't wait until that race!

Got a good workout in today. I'm not sure if I'm a sucker for punishment, but I squatted again and then ran about 3 miles. Did some core and some other quick lifting then finished with a run. Tomorrow I think I'll just bike only.
