Hi....can anybody tell me if there's much problem with mosquitos/bugs in the parks and resorts at this time of the year? In the past, I've always been careful to put some type of sunscreen with repellent and straight-out repellent in the evening on our kids, but I'm wondering if it's really even necessary. They do tend to be bug bite magnets, but if the bugs aren't really biting, we could skip a step (and not have to smell that stuff!)

Just back from a week long trip last week. Bring the insect repellent! Got lots of bites especially in the evening/ night. Noticed bites on others in my party and people in general.

We were at AKL, MK and EPCOT.

I got two very small bites on leg at AKL but no one else in the family got bitten and mine were very minor.

Let me follow with at home if I step outside I am eaten alive. So I was very happy !:bounce:

The weather has been very dry this spring, but we are starting to get some rain this week, so I would expect the mosquito population to start exploding. I'd bring the deet.

We went last year for a week after July 4th, and nobody in the family (wife and 2 kids, plus me) had a single mosquito bite. It was hot, but no bites. We didn't even wear any repellent at all for the whole week.
