Does anyone have the dates when DVC Members are allowed access to Mt. Everest, before it opens to the public?

The DVC soft opening preview event is January 26 - 29, 2006.

DVC Members preview Expedition Everest! Members are invited to take a sneak "peak" at Expedition Everest — Legend of the Forbidden Mountain™ Jan. 26-29, 2006, at Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park. The new thrill attraction, opening officially in April, sends Guests on a high-speed train adventure into the Himalayas for a face-to-muzzle encounter with the legendary Yeti. Each Member who presents his/her Disney Vacation Club Member ID during the sneak "peak" event may enjoy this preview with as many as three Guests. As an added bonus, you and your Guests will each receive a complimentary Expedition Everest lanyard and pin (limit one set per person during the four-day event). Disney's FASTPASS® service will be also be available during the preview.

I can't believe it, the preview is the week before we are going to Disney. We arrive February 4th. What do you think the possibility is that they will have other previews February 4th and 5th?

That's my question! We won't be there until 2/25 but I'd love to be able to ride it!!! Any one else have experience with soft openings?

Me too...we are arriving on FEb 3rd...think we can go wait on line with our DVC card and hope they will give us a ride?????LOL

I'm sure you can wait with your DVC card, just bring some food, it could be a few weeks!
Not to rub it in (well, OK) but we'll be on EE the 29th!!

YAY!! We will be at WDW at least one of those days. So if we show up at Mt. Everest with our DVC card, they will let us ride? Is this right or do we need to make some sort of reservation?
