I know, I know, another how do I watch the parade question...

I didn't want to have to do it but the other threads just aren't covering my exact question.

I have one shot at seeing MSEP and Wishes on 12/17. I want a good spot for MSEP (I don't mind waiting) and a good spot to see Wishes. Would love for it to be same spot... If it cannot, then please tell me how hard it will be to get from spot A to spot B and how I go about it with hub construction, crowds, etc.

In the past we have always just gotten one spot for parade and Wishes. The last few times we've gotten a spot for parade in hub (in 2011 we got to sit in middle of hub with no one around us, must have been an off night) but that location was not good for Wishes at all. We've also seen Wishes from behind the castle but since we only get to see it once and my DH just got a mirrorless camera for the trip, I want to see it from the right side.

Any suggestions welcome.

You want to be able to see the new show that is actually projected on the front of the Castle,
"Celebrate the Magic," which begins about 15 minutes before the fireworks.

Below is a rough estimate of the Fireworks viewing spots
based on other posters' info on the boards and personal experience.

A look at the MK Parade Route-
Disney's (MS) Electrical Parade starts near the Firehouse and exits near Splash Mtn.

Okay, Robo so if I have all the time in the world and I plant my butt by Casey's 90 minutes before to get a spot for the parade and hang there for CtM and Wishes, will I be able to see CtM and everything because of the hub construction? And is there still a sidewalk/curb in that location?

It is the construction and additional walls that is throwing a wrench in my planning.

Thank you for the maps. Hadn't seen the top one before.

Robo, what would so many people do without you and your amazing maps? This also helps me out so much! Thank you! pixiedust:

The thing to do is arrive early (90 minutes is not necessarily going to be early enough at the hub when the park is busy) near Casey's (or wherever) on the curb and also make sure you have a clear view of the castle.

Remember that instantly, as the end of parade passes your location, guests will stream into
the street to await Celebrate the Magic and Wishes.

Okay, so not a problem for wishes but you won't be able to see CtM very well from Casey's huh? I have the time, 2 full days and 2 half days in MK. We can sit for 2 hours if need be - just want to make sure it is worth it.

It does seem like you can either have a good view for one or the other. LOL!

That's why I talked about guests moving to the middle of the street.
