MS open on MLK?

I hope so because I need to make my Christmas trip reservations tomorrow -- I've been counting down the days and would hate to have to wait one more day!

It's official. MS has a recording saying they are closed for the holiday, and will reopen tomorrow. Yesterday I looked all over for exact dates they would be closed. All I could find is that MS would be closed on MAJOR holidays. Yes, I know this is a Federal holiday, and many schools are out.........but most businesses don't consider MLK as a major holiday. I was hoping that MS would be open. Even their recording last night didn't say anything about being closed today.

For the person asking about if they could have made a reservation yesterday for the 19th....I don't believe so. Before MS was open on Sundays, if the date to call fell on Sunday, you would just have to wait until Monday to call. I believe this would be considered the same.

WAHHH I got up jumped in the shower, got dressed and ran downstairs to call and they are closed. I was really excited about making my first DVC reservation or atleast trying to since it looks like it is going to be popular. Are the odds good that I will get what I want calling tomorrow at almost exactly 11 months out?

I was hopiing it would be the same as before. So I still would have a chance of getting my ressie for next december. We want a GV at AKV so I sure hope I can get through right away tomorrow and they aren't all booked up. Thanks Mrstrim2002. We were hoping to do the same thing this morning and dh tried twice and got the same message (we were hoping it was a fluke and that perhaps they would be open at 8 but alas...). I have a feeling tomorrow is going to be one with a long wait so be prepared. At least there would be something good on the internet or tv to watch while waiting on hold!!!!
