This is helpful intel. I think BC Marketplace may have expanded from 10pm to 11pm at some point in the last 3 years, but either way, 11pm is before we arrive on night 1 (trying to keep the kids in school until lunch on the West Coast)— I am certain Captain Cook’s stayed open later back in 2023.I just checked a few others. Primo Piatto, Roaring Fork, Artist's Pallete, Geyser Point, all stay open until 11. Even the BC Marketplace says it stays open until 11. I wonder if @HyperspaceMountainPilot's comment is specific to the BC Marketplace because I know the setup there is the giftshop/QS hybrid sort of space that, as I recall, doesn't have any seating or tables (like a full QS such as Primo Piatto or Roaring Fork). I wonder if they tend to shut the kitchens down well before the official 11 pm closing time.
Haha, it’s like an upscale 7-11. There’s usually something in the grab and go section I’m fine to snack on but the actual food service is extremely limited in variety and quality (and seems to change a lot).I love Beach Club, but Disney calling the Marketplace a Quick Service restaurant is generous.
This is a good idea— we do typically get a grocery order to start us off…no reason it couldn’t include some sort of very easy first night quick fix.We often arrive at those late hours. It was after 1am last visit. I always do a Walmart grocery order. I have them deliver the day of arrival and have bell services deliver it to my villa when I arrive. This gives us the ability to have both a quick meal when we arrive as well as breakfast right away when we get up the next morning after a late night arrival.
Yeah, keeping one bar with overpriced bar food open at the deluxe resorts for 1h after park close would make Disney sooooo much money. It is insane, even any night after the parks there is nothing, I always have to remember to buy some kind of snacks for the room to avoid door dash… and even those options get slim after midnight.
I believe we’ve been seated at Bourbon Steak as late as 10:30 and the kitchen stays open until 11, with the bar open later, but I’m not certain?Never check Swolphin, I’ll remember that next time!!
My issue is definitely after 11…I think the Crew Cup Lounge and Beaches & Cream are open until 11 these days?Maybe I just need to look better, but also I might be looking after 11.
::starts questioning if she is actually a BWV person after all::The answer in my family is always the Boardwalk Pizza Window. Open until midnight.
I was guessing this only because I went to WDW 2x in my 20s and don’t remember being cranky and hungry after the late nights in the parks. I think *in park* dining stayed open later hours then too. These were definitely COVID-era cuts that never came back. Contempo Cafe used to be open until 12am daily and served the full menu, while Gasparilla and Captain Cook’s were open 24/7 and transitioned to late night dining after midnight.
This is super helpful, thanks. Maybe I should stop treating my VGF points like sleep around points. As of now, the latest quick service restaurant options I’m aware of are still Gasparilla and Captain Cook’s, with full menus until 11pm and a late night offering from 11pm to 12am that’s mostly grab and go items, along with soda and coffee.
This is a fantastic idea. Would probably also help drive occupancy at their expensive hotels with very desirable restaurants.Honestly, I wish there was a slightly earlier window for reservations at every resort if you are staying on site at that resort.
Might help a bit with the congestion with the parking situation at the resorts or with the congestion on the WDW transport as well as a nice little side effect

How late is the ice cream place open?

Please excuse me while I spiral questioning everything I’ve ever known about Crescent Lake.12pm to 11pm.![]()
You have forgotten more about Crescent Lake and Walt Disney World than I will ever learn …. but with 2 growing boys coming from the West Coast time zone…. we know when the food is open! Please excuse me while I spiral questioning everything I’ve ever known about Crescent Lake.
I would think the A-Frames will be very similar to the cabins, just maybe not as secluded feeling.I'm intrigued by Lakeshore Lodge and will be curious to see how it all looks, especially the 1-bedroom lake houses. But still not sure if we'd ever choose to stay there over Wilderness Lodge.
A cabin for a week!?We stayed at a CCV Cabin last summer for a week and I think we're spoiled! I'll give Lakeshore Lodge a try, but I think nothing will beat the cabins or the refurbished BRV rooms for when we don't need quick access to the parks. WL is just so beautiful imo
Seriously, 24/7 ?…. while Gasparilla and Captain Cook’s were open 24/7 and transitioned to late night dining after midnight.
I’m thinking the same thing, why do I always feel like nothing is available when I get there late!?!?Please excuse me while I spiral questioning everything I’ve ever known about Crescent Lake.
Is there a minimum order value for Walmart? Also do you need a US address for payment (credit or debit card)? We often arrive at those late hours. It was after 1am last visit. I always do a Walmart grocery order. I have them deliver the day of arrival and have bell services deliver it to my villa when I arrive. This gives us the ability to have both a quick meal when we arrive as well as breakfast right away when we get up the next morning after a late night arrival.

What type of room? We're staying in a studio in October (2 x adults) as I really wanted to visit the resort but didn't think it would interest my (now 10.5yo) sonJust walked into my first room stay at RIV. I am very impressed by this layout. Look forward to sharing my full opinion once I recover from our vacation. Until then MM tonight at HS!
I thought it was just meAnyone read this and hear Robin Williams’ voice?
(“Good morning, Viet Nam!”)

I just take a photo of mine and show it with the digital card. Super easy... I volunteer it just to Venice and avoid the awkwardness of them asking. Sometimes they look sometimes they don't.I didn’t actually have my ID on me, and they gave me a pass, but said I should carry it with me or have a photo of it going forward.
Totally off-topic, and please don't take this offensively because it's not meant to be in any way, but I've always wondered how people can take multiple weeks away from home for vacation.Morning everyone! (although it's now pm here!!)
I would love to stay at CCV cabin! They look amazing and much more secluded than the Polynesian bungalows (does anyone rate these?)
I do like the look of the LL A frame villas, I was wondering if they would have a loft style bedroom but it doesn't look like it.
I tend to always do split stays, years ago when I travelled with my ex husband and now as we will do longer trips (2-3 weeks) once every year or two. In 2023 I managed to rent points for GCV one bed and it was amazing! Plus I liked the whole pool wrist band thing there (my son loved having different coloured bands for each day!) it felt like we were VIP's! Oh and the resort entrance to DCA!
That was our first trip to California (and my sons first trip to the USA or any Disney Park - other than when I was pregnant!) and it was fantastic! I wish I could do it all all-over again!
