MS long wait last 2 days special event or something?

I almost always just use the website but it won't let you change names or modify WL. So I called yesterday and the recorded message said wait time of 12 mins, just called now and est wait time is over 15 mins.

Is some special booking going on? I only had this happen once and it was because of the member cruise booking just opened for booking. I don't think I ever waited over 5 mins much less over 10 back to back days. I hung up yesterday after being on hold over 10 mins and today I wasn't going to wait over 15 mins.

Not to mention it seems like that "intro" message gets longer and longer everytime I call...pretty soon it will take 10mins before they even try to connect you to a MS person.

For one thing, the 4 month window for the VGF just opened for the very, very popular first week of December and the 11 month window just opened for 4th of July week in 2014.

You are competing with the members who are trying to move their reservations to the VGF, the members who want to book the 4th of July week for 2014 and those who are trying to move a 2014 spring break vacation.

It should get better soon.

If your need isn't urgent, try sending an email through the members' website. The CMs can work those when the phones aren't quite so busy. I suspect if you call later in the afternoon, the wait times will be less. Mornings are almost always the busiest time of the day.
