I posted this on the dining plan forum but I thought I would post it here as well since you don't have to be on the dining plan to get one!!!
We recently got back from the world and noticed a few changes. Our biggest surprise was the icecream sandwich from the main street bakery. After years of trips we actually tried this for the first time last year and thought it was incredible. It was three scoops of ice cream between the two cookies. This year were waiting for the 11 pm MSEP and I bought one. The girl put only one scoop of ice cream. I didn't say anything because I thought they may have changed it or that I had just gotten a very generous portion last year. We tried again on our last night (so again it was in the evening) and I got about a scoop and a half. Again, I didn't say anything because this one had a little more than the previous one. Both of these versions were hard to eat. There was too much cookie - the ice cream just squirted out - there was not enough ice cream to take the pressure of biting through the cookies.
When I got home, I scanned the boards and it seems to me, everyone seems to be getting the three scoop large sandwich. My question is....Was it because I was dealing with CMs late in the evening and they are ususally the less experienced (our first one we bought last year in the early afternoon) or is it a recent change in portion? I would not waste another snack credit on one again if this is how it will be (as you can see from my name, I am kind of fond of Dole Whips and I would probably go with that instead!) THANKS!
