Mr. Toad's Wild Ride!

Excuse my ignorance - but I don't know the movie that goes with Mr. Toad. In fact, I can't even remember ever going on it! The last few times I have been to DL we have missed this ride. So, anyone know? I would love to show my DS's the movie before we go in Dec. Thanks!!

Yes, Mr. Toad is based on characters from the book The Wind in the Willows. Disney's animated version can be found on The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad.

We read the book this year before our trip (we homeschool), really added to the ride when he really knew all about the characters! Great classic story!

The Disney cartoon is a classic as well. I got it on Amazon for a decent price. We watched it after reading the book.

Thanks for your replies. I have never read Wind in the Willows. And probably haven't seen Ichabod since it was released in the theaters (a looooong time ago). My kids have all been a little too scaredy-cat for Ichabod, even on video. No wonder I don't have any references for Mr. Toad!

We watched the movie before we went, and the kids LOVED mr. toad.

I would recommend it, just to familiarize yourself with the plot line, but, we do that for every Disney ride ever.
