Sunday-October 5 (A Big Day)
Once again Mickey calls us at the crack of dawn, about 6am.
We have a PS at Chef Mickeys at 715am, it was very good as
always, we then hop the monorail and head to the MK for Early
Entry Day. We arrive right at 8am. They are doing these really
cute photos as you start down Main Street with you in front of the castle and they super impose tinkerbell in the palms of your hands, they turned out really good.
I headed straight to mickeys philharmagic, but they were having
problems with at, they advised us to try back a little bit later.
So while my DH searched for the little boys room I rode Pooh by myself, he's not much for the Fantasy Land rides, but I enjoy them. We then headed to the Speedway cars thing, I have never done that because the lines are always long there, it was OK.
We then headed back to Space Mountain and walked right on it
twice. After that we headed back to Mickeys Ph. and it was open,
and we walked right in just as it was getting ready to start. WOW!! What a show, I can't say enough how wonderful this is.
Then we went to Haunted Mansion, and House of Presidents.
I really wanted some caramel corn at sleepy hollow but they still
weren't offering it, they said they were going to start again this
week, Bummer. So then it's over to Splash Mountain, walked right on (This is my all time fav. Disney attraction), we actually got wet
on this and we were in the back seat. Next onto Pirates, but the line is 45 minutes(We'll catch this one tonight when we come back for MNSSHP) It was getting lunch time, we used our first
quick n casual vouchers at Cosmic Rays Starlite cafe, it was our first time eating here. I had a grilled chicken sandwich with fries,
Dave had a cheesesteak hoagie which he said was very good, and we both had Toll house ice cream cookie sandwiches and sodas, a very good value, we saved about 3.00 per person on the
vouchers. We shopped a little on Main Street before leaving to get some pool and jacuzzi time back at the WL.
I had PS at Cali Grill at 530pm, we had a big lunch ealier so we ordered a Flatbread and a large plate of sushi, that was the best sushi I have ever had. After dinner we headed back over to MK for the Halloween Party. We did our photos right away, good, got
that out of the way, dis some trick or treating then met a group of Diser's in front of the HM at 730pm, it was so nice to meet everyone, there was a group photo taken, I hope somebody posts it on the board. We then all went our separate ways. Since we were so close to Mickeys Phil. we had to do it again, so we did, and it was just as fun as the first time. Then we headed over to do Pirates, and walked right on. Time for the Haunted Riverboat Cruise(This was a big waste of time, not much happening here, and it took up alot of time, it was packed full of people and there was nowhere to sit, people were sitting on the stairs just waiting for it end) Time to go fing a spot for the second parade, it was still very busy, we found a spot over in Frontierland sitting on a fence in front of Pecos Bills, the parade was excellent, my fav part was the ride of the headless horseman. Off to Tomorrowland to ride PeopleMovers and Buzz,
but what a surprise to get over there and fing COP was open, I was sooo happy, we got on at 1130pm and we were the only ones in there, I could sing "It's a great big beautiful tomorrow" as loud as I want, and I did. We are getting pretty tired now, so we casually make our way out just after midnight and there was still
alot of folks in there. It was a wonderful day, and tomorrow we can sleep in some.
