How was everyone's Thanksgiving? It's about 80 degrees here in San Diego today-what a beautiful weekend we had. Time to get the Christmas things out!

we had a great Thanksgiving and I got to see KS Prairie Gal...she is my sister!! I am sitting here trying to figure out what to do for a FE... let alone the gifts!! I am not the craftiest! I am really excited about this trip.

Nothing yet...I just finished my online registration and I am still GTY.

Pretty Pleased with our flights...I was able to book on Alaskan Air and am payin $40 one way each
We also decided to stay in LA for the Sunday after and just hang out.

WOW. Great deal!

On the FE front, I decided to go a totally different way with the extender. I was looking in my closet and saw a fabric drawstring mickey backpack I got when I bought my husband a disney sweatshirt. I think it's a good size, the price is right (zero) and people will be less inclined to want it because it's pretty nondescript. Done! I'll use the fabric I bought at joanns for another craft I have in mind for gifts.

I like your idea of the $0 fish extender. As I'm Christmas shopping, I keep looking for something cheap and cute that I could use. DD has some fabric picked out, so I may have to sew one to make her happy!

Yes, I really wanted to make one--I had everything all laid out and was so excited--I had bought some of those big zippered bags I was going to attach to the fabric....but now I'm going to use them for packing, like they were intended! But, oh well--I'll concentrate on the gifts. The deadline for the exchange will be up in a few weeks and then we'll know how many we have to consider. So far it doesn't seem like too many.

We are on deck 7 with a porthole. The veranda was a little over the budget, but I'm happy we'll be able to see out at least!
