I don't know I'm torturing myself by reading the latest postings on the resteraunt boards and watching the food network. I'm trying to cut down on our weekly treats so that we can indulge in October with the adult beverages and food sampling. Our meal planning is messed up by the delay in the house repair (hoping for tomorrow). I would have made a roasted turkey, steamed veggies, and some biscuits (okay---I cheat--use frozen or canned biscuits). I was then going to have yummy turkey sandwiches or turkey quesadillas the following day. Then if there was enough turkey----turkey/noodle/veggie soup.
I am bit
. One more hour until NC Beast wakes up and we can have burgers or hot dogs. No imagnation there today with us keeping the fridge almost bare on purpose (its going to be unplugged during the floor and door repairs in the kitchen).

? The school gave the kids one (each), and I want to make sure we don't kill them!
SO, if you do have one, how often do I need to clean the bowl? Anything special I need to know? (And before anyone says it, YES, they are in separate bowls.)
Trust me, betas are easier to care for than goldfish. Jordan's preschool did the same thing and he had one that lived 4 years...if we can keep one alive that long, anyone can
Just change the water once a week(if even that) and drop in a few grains of fish food every other day. The fish food label will tell you to feed them WAY more than they actually need and all the extra food will make the fish bowl cloudy
over to the cruise boards and see what's going on there. Later!
Yep, I'm betting they have some pretty pissed 3 and 4 day cruise passengers after that announcement
...the irony of it is that those who choose take the 3 and 4 day cruises do so because they simply don't have the time and/or money to take a 10 or 11 day cruise which makes it doubly painful for them I'm sure
...I'm just afraid with all the new cruise ships stopping there that it will be ruined

Catrina is so beautiful...and her eyes are incredible!

Never been to Lake Lure but heard it's beautiful and has a wonderful spa. I think it's somewhere near Asheville. Lake Norman (near Charlotte) is typically where the "rich and famous" have their NC lake houses
...huge mansions on the water...they used to be classics but now so many are built with modern designs that it takes away from the natural beauty...just my opinion of course

<---This is what I was doing late last night and this afternoon (dealing with the techs in charge of e-mail on our ISP).
