OMG.........today is my last day at work

After work today, Kevin is taking me out to dinner to celebrate my retirement. Now I have to think where I want to go - what do I have a taste for?????

I knew you were refering to me, but I didn't know who I was suppossed to be.

Now that you said that, I know exactly who she is - I love that movie!!!!

Yesterday went smooth - which I was really glad about
My bosses gave me a going away necklace, which is very pretty.
I left my key when I left, and I walked out the door for the last time.
When I left I thought to myself - I started working there in March 1988 and I started dating Kevin in July 1988 - I have been working there longer than Kevin and I have been together - that's a long time!!!!

Then when I came home Kevin, the girls, and I went out to dinner at a place called Northwoods. It really reminds me of the Wilderness Lodge, and the food is very yummy. We were going to get dessert at DQ on the way home, but the line was massive at the drive-through, and I was full anyway, so we'll get that another time

Thanks to everyone that wished me well on my last day - I appreciate it!!

Now I must go and get Steph up for school

It went well - no problems

I was glad to not be at the store, because we always have goofy people come in on Friday the 13th and full moons - I"m not superstitious, but it really does happen

Yesterday's winds and power outage created havoac with our DSL. I don't like our DSL service too well right now---their initials are AT&T (BellSouth merger).

We had a lot of rain on Sunday, but Monday was windy with up to 50 mph gusts. Yesterday, it was not too bad on wind speeds.
