Moving to smartphones and What is your favorite App

The DW and I both moved over this past week to the sprint LG Optimus. We went cell only 10+ years ago (with Sprint) and have never look backed. The internet has been supported with with DSL and or ATT Uverse(Great product)

What are your most favorite apps?

I like TiKl - Touch to Talk. If you know someone else with a smartphone they can download the app and you can chat back and forth like a walky talky and it doesn't use your minutes.

Does anyone know if there is a DIS app for android? I've had an ipod touch for years and have a lot of good disney apps including the DIS one, but now I have an android phone and can't find any good ones.

For OP I think the kindle app is great! I always have my book with me on my phone, and if you have an ipod or a kindle device it syncs so you stay in your place no matter which device you were reading on last.

Hi There,

Apologies.

We fixed several wait time bugs and enhanced many features. Unfortunately, this causes our app to crash upon updating to the new version (free or paid)!

To fix this, simply delete the app (free or paid) from your device and re-download from the App/iTunes store.

If you have already bought the paid version, you will not have to pay for this new download. It looks like you will, but once the download begins it states that it is free.

TripIt -- awesome for keeping all the info for my Disney trip. After registering, just forward your confirmation emails to their email address and it puts it all into an easy to read format. It's amazing how accurate it is. And it also provides maps to your diff destinations (airports, hotels, etc) In fact, I just took a quick weekend trip home for the family xmas, and had my hotel confirmation and map info on there, so no print outs or scrambling. Loooooove it!

SpringPad -- make lists, memos, barcode scanner, etc. It also lets you put a tab on your internet explorer so that if you see something while you're surfing that you want to save, you simply select it and it will store it for you and sync it to your phone.

Happy Hours -- to be fair, this is appealing for all the budgeters out there so you can see all the food (ok, and drink) deals nearby for that day.

Mr Number Call Block -- select any numbers (people) you want to block w/ choice to just hang up on them or send it straight to voice mail. Good for sales people, pests, etc
