We are opting to self pack as much as we can as we have 11 years of life to decluttering. It's just easier to pack our own boxes.
Most fragile items will be packed by the movers.
My dd has 2 snowglobes: 1 is a Precious Moments globe and the other is a Disney Aristocats Marie globe. Neither is really replaceable--so should they break in transit, the insurance will do little for my 10 year old.
My question is---what should I do?
Trust the movers or self carry? We no longer have either box and had never really anticipated a move out of state of this magnitude.
If we self carry, I really don't know how to pack it. But at least while it is in our posession...I will be able to make sure it is in a safe place in our van.
Suggestions?
