Moving luggage between resorts?

We are staying at the animal kingdom lodge in June but are planning our first night at all star. Will disney move our luggage between resorts or will we have to take care of it?

From what I understand you can give it to bell services and it will make to the next resort late afternoon.

Yes we just did it two times (3 resorts) over our trip last week
Call for bell services
Tell them where you are going
They'll give you a tag
You'll provide that when you call for the bags at the next resort
No matter what time you send them it will take to late afternoon so be prepared

You can have bell services fo it. But we don’t go to parks much so I usually just check out as late as possible, call Uber, take bags to new resort, check in. We have gotten lucky thst the room is available. Otherwise we leave bags with the bell services and head to DS for lunch.

We found that the line at bell services was terribly long (like 30+ people) near check-out time. We found it easier to grab a Lyft and take our luggage to our next resort ourselves. If you're planning on checking out earlier, you may not have that issue. I don't know if calling bell services to our room would have been better, given the number of people they were trying to serve.

We called bell services at 10:30 on our check out day and they were to our room by 10:45! I'd assume they have a few "runners" and a few desk people, so either we got lucky or it may be better to call.

We always call the night before and give them a time and they've always shown up right at that time.

That's a really good idea, I'll have to remember that for next time! Sure beats waiting around wondering when they'll show up so you can head off to the parks . Thanks!

We also sat ours up the night before. We were transferring from OKW to the BCV. Everything worked great and they came out to our villa and picked up.

We took our luggage to bell services on our way to breakfast, then headed to the parks, and got bell services to deliver them when we checked into the new resort. Easy!
