This may seem a little silly but having never stayed on disney property i'm having some serious anxiety about getting around disney. Most days of our trip we are travelling from our resort to one park and back. My only concern is the day I have planned for AK, we have reservations for supper at O'hana's. Not sure how to get from one to the other or how long it will take?
Can someone fill me in?
Thanks

When leaving AK simply take the bus from there to the Poly. Allow yourself at least an hour from the AK bus stop.
After dinner take the monorail from the Poly to the MK and walk over to the bus stop and take the bus back to your resort.

Take a deep breath. Traveling around WDW is incredibly easy. Sometimes people make it sound more confusing than it really is. Everything is very well marked.
Getting from AK to the Polynesian is very easy. Just head out to the bus stops at AK, get on the bus at the Polynesian bus stop. Have a nice dinner at 'Ohana, then head over to the MK, via the monorail or small boat, and then take your resort bus back to your resort. You should always leave an hour to get from point A to point B...just in case. You could just miss a bus as you are walking up to the bus stop, so you could face a 20 min wait for the next one to come. If you leave an hour to get to your destination, you won't be sitting there, worrying about being late.

Alternatively, after dinner you can also catch a taxi from the Poly back to your resort.

I kind of look at taxis at WDW as the "fall back - if all else fails - I'm to tired to deal with Disney buses" alternative. They're always at the deluxe resorts (and I would guess the other resorts as well) and at the parks, so at least you know that's an option.
