Movies to rent if you and your Boyfriend just broke up

I would also suggest "Kill Bill" and "Death Proof" (I like the action movies). These two are awesome "girl power" movies.

OMG, DH loves Death Proof...he makes me watch it at least once a week lol...

I would hit up some comedies..nothing takes heartache off your mind like laughter...not sure what kind of movies ya'll are into but I can get wrapped up in the new movie UP..love the dog and bird!

How about He's Just Not That Into You. Just kidding! Are you looking for movies that aren't about romance/couples then? I'd go with something funny and light hearted. Maybe The Wedding Singer, Waterboy, Liar Liar, 16 Candles or something along those lines.

Maybe she could go get out of the house and see Hot Tub Time Machine? I just saw it and it was obnoxious and inappropriate and verrrry entertaining... kind of with a very loose theme of "starting over" and how life might be different in the future...

I posted a thread about this very topic back in July that might have some different recommendations in it that'd work, depending on what your friend's in the mood for. Back then, I watched a lot of suspense/drama/people-in-way-crappier-relationships-than-I-was-type movies and it helped a lot. Some of my favorites were A Perfect Murder, Unfaithful, 28 Days (though not relationship-y, it was good to get my mind off things), Sleeping with the Enemy, that kind of thing.
