Bambi and the 1st time I saw Ghost. Of course I was pregnant the 1st time I saw Ghost, so maybe that had something to do with it?

Stepmom...I think that's the name, with Julia Roberts and Susan Sarandon

I'm watching Steel Magnolias right now too and it makes me cry everytime.

No movie ever made me weep like Philadelphia, with Tom Hanks. I cried so hard at that movie that I think it left DH sort of dumbstruck and bewildered and not sure how to console me. :earseek: I had just lost my father and my best friend was battling full blown Aids at the time, and the movie was just more than I could take. I can still cry now if I think about it hard enough...

Weird movies make me cry. I cried like a baby in March of the Penquins. Another movie that gets me is an offbeat and sort of obscure movie called Avalon...it takes place in my hometown of Baltimore and reminds me so much of my own family, especially the older generation that has now pretty much passed on. Its terribly nostalgic, nostalgia always makes me cry.

My Dog Skip
I didn't get to see the whole movie because I was crying so much.

Another movie that makes me cry is the end of Ladder 49. My dad is a firefighter and I know alot of other fire fighters, so that probably has something to do with it. The worst part was the last two minutes of the movie when they are playing that song.

Was it a "touching movie" kind of cry or a "sad movie" kind of cry? Animals always get to me, but I really want to watch that one.

Good grief. I cry over the littlest things sometimes, but movies do me in a lot.

Born on the 4th of July is one of my all time favorite movies, and one that will get me going all the time. From the prom scene to the end, I am a crying mess. But I torture myself with it all the time. :teeth: I love that movie! :teeth:

Dr. Zhivago

The Lion King :teeth:

ET - :teeth:

Others that have been mentioned, like Terms of Endearment and Philadelphia.

Touching and sad. Its really unbelievably good, beyond my wildest expectations. Please go see it, you won't regret it.

Mighty Joe Young
Bambi
The Fox and the Hound
The Lion King

Does anyone note a Disney connection somehow? ;)

That's the one that always gets to me now matter how many times I've seen it. Even more so, now that I'm older. The "I'll be right here" line makes me think of the loved ones I've lost.

The Notebook.... I cried through practically the whole movie, my dog looked at me like I was crazy!!! he couldn't figure out what was wrong with me!

Also, parts of "Hope Floats" made me cry wicked bad!!
