Movies that make you think

I just saw Inception last night and really liked it! It reminded me a bit of Memento in that you have to pay attention to every minute to keep up. I liked the complexity - the plot was fascinating!

What other movies are out there that have many layers and really make you think?

Movies hmmm, haven't seen Inception yet. I have to say that V for Vendetta had my mind racing a bit. If I got to pick a TV series it would be "The Wire".

I did see the new Harry Potter film, and Tangled in the past few weeks.

I loved Boardwalk Empire too. I think I watched the whole season in one weekend.

Dead Man Walking had a profound affect on me. Oscar and Lucinda too, but not quite as powerful.

Time travel movies usually have me thinking about them for awhile. Like The Lake House and Time After Time.

Gone, Baby, Gone was another great film directed by Ben Affleck that really made you think.

I also enjoyed Salt, if you haven't seen it yet. I'm not sure it makes you think much... but it's a fairly intelligent action film. KWIM?
