Movies on the beach?

Can you sit and watch a movie on a beach (polynesian for example) and do smores if you are not staying there? We're booked into a disney hotel but not until later in our trip. Can we still do this?

I'm sure if you did nobody would care-I doubt they check to make sure you're resort guests, however the way I see it is that the movies they show are an amenity of the resort, and most resort amenities are reserved for guests staying at the resort. Therefore, it wouldn't really be appropriate to stay for the movie if you aren't staying there.

We will be staying at a resort just not until a couple of days later than this fits in to the plan

Sure you can. We watched Frozen on the beach this past May at Poly while we were waiting for fireworks to start even though we were staying at Yacht Club.
