Read the book. Have not seen the movie. I liked the book but have to admit that I felt lost most of the time. I guess I'm just a lazy reader, just seemed like too much work.
Oh, and I'm also the only person who HATED/DESPISED The Lovely Bones.
I read the book and kept waiting for it to get to the point. I was not particularly impressed with it. The movie was okay but seeing him running around naked looking for clothes was even creepier than reading about it.
It took me a while to get into the book but I ended up loving it. The movie - eh, not so much. I thought I remembered them being so in love and such a romantic story. They just seemed like some old married couple in the movie
****SPOILER ALERT***
Do not read if you don't know the ending!
Loved the book...hated the movie. I watched the movie with 2 of my friends who were also fans of the book. There was so much stuff to cram into this movie that I don't feel like characters were developed enough to really care about them. The ending felt like it was dragging on forever and we just wanted the movie to be over. While the ending could have been a real tear jerker, we were all saying, "Just die already!" None of us liked the movie version at all.

Oh, you're not the only one. The Lovely Bones really creeped me out and I just didn't like the movie in general.
But as far as The Time Traveler's Wife, I absolutely LOVED the book. It's definitely in my top ten favorite books I've ever read. I will agree that the movie didn't really give it justice. I didn't hate the movie (I'm a big Rachel Mcadams fan) but I did feel a little disappointed in it. But honestly, I'm like that with the majority of movies that I see that were made from books. I guess books just give much more detail and stuff. There are a few exceptions though. Did anyone read the book and then see the movie Bridge to Terabithia? I read the book when I was younger and then saw the movie and it was just as great as the book IMO
