We're planning 9 nights at the end of May. We've stayed at the CR, BC and POR before. We want to stick with the higher end resorts this time. Family loves the CR. It'll be me, DH and 2 DD's (ages 11 and 16). Should we switch hotels halfway through (and which one) or stay only at CR? What do you think?

I always resort hop. I can never make up my mind on one resort.

I voted for the switch to YC/BC (YC would be my first choice.) To me staying at a Magic Kingdom resort and then switching to a resort that is so close to EPCOT and Disney-MGM Studios would be ideal!

Have fun deciding.

I voted for a switch to BW. I like the idea of changing resorts during your stay. It makes it like two trips in one! And I picked BW because you're now in a different area and the resort is different from CR and the others you said you stayed at already. Maybe you'll be up for something new this trip?

My second choice would be to stay at the Polynesian. It's gorgeous.:teeth:

I voted for switch to the Poly. The time of year you are going is great and the Poly has a fabulous pool area. It is very relaxing and fun, too. The resort is also on the monorail..like the Contemporary. If it were our family..we stay only in one place the whole trip...but it sounds like you want to experiment this time....so my vote goes to the Poly.

Now...if you're big EPCOT fans, then I would move to the BC/YC. They have a great pool area too (we've never stayed there yet!) and it is walking distance to EPCOT.

You'll have fun at either place. By the way, I'm glad you like the Contemporary. We are trying it out in two weeks for the first time.:D

Hi Coloradodis!

I voted for Yacht/Beach although BWI is just as nice. Of the YC/BC, I'd go with Yacht. It's as family friendly as BC but a little calmer plus you're closer to the boat dock. With being on the monorail for part of the trip, you might enjoy the boat options at the EPCOT resorts. Plus, if you or anyone in family interested, MGM Studios should be having Star Wars Weekends at the end of May.

We're looking at our next trip about the middle of May next year too. Would like to beat the schools getting out (we're on year round in Highlands Ranch) and hit Star Wars deal. My 10yr old DD is a Star Wars nut.

Whatever your choice, 9 nights would be great!

I voted on switch to BW try something new, staying in two resorts is like having two vacations.:earsboy:

to YC/BC. I think resort hopping is fun. You get different experiences. Plus, you're staying for such a long time. The Epcot resort area is wonderful. We almost always stay at YC or BC. You'll love Stormalong Bay and walking to Epcot. The boardwalk area is so much fun. I think it'll be a totally new and different experience for you. And, who knows, you might come away with a new favorite.

Have Fun!
