I absolutely can not wait to see this parade in person!! When Disney released the float drawings I started stalking around, waiting to see what they'd look like. I haven't been this excited about a parade since, well, maybe ever!!

OHHHH Now i cannot wait for you to see it and tell me how much you LOVED it!!!

And way to go Zach! Taking after mom with the stellar photography skills. Something tells me future TR will feature more of your DS's handy work.

YES! He did a FANTASTIC job with the pictures.. Yet he still wont let me live it down he got the shot and I didn't... Yep he will most definitely be taking lots of pictures of course i will post them! he is doing a great job!

We missed out on the parade on our last visit and I've been bummed out about it every since. Oh wait! I forgot to say something...the blue haired girls remind me of Katy Perry.

AMAZING parade pictures!

I love the vintage disney pics of you and Pinochio!

On our last trip they had just reopened the Tiki Room after restoring it to the original program, I was so excited to see the show, so Henry and I went in and sat down.

The birds started to sing, and Henry started to cry and he would not stop. I had to sneak out an exit, and we spent the next 2 hours in a rocking chair in the baby care center.

Love the snow, as long as I don't have to drive in it. One of the reasons I moved to Georgia, is so I don't have to drive in the snow and ice. It doesnt look like we will have any snow this year and I miss it.
Time to make some dinner.

YES YES you MUST see this parade! If you don't FP then i would suggest finding a nice shady spot somewhere to enjoy it all!!! We were seating bullets and frying on the sidewalk can you imagine how the characters felt?!?!

Did you notice the date and all the information is no longer at the top of the posts but on the bottom?
To the right of the posts it will give the # of the post then "like" "+Quote" and "reply"

Right click on the number and copy link address-- Go back to your links page. Hit EDIT add your link like you were able to before.. ANY questions i am more then willing to help you!

OH NO! the poor kid! I can see how the show would frighten some kids. it's very loud with a LOT going on all at once.

Thanks again for all your kind words on my photography. As you know it is very dear to my heart. I just LOVE taking pictures. Sometimes they turn out.. a lot of times they just come out wonky. Especially taking pictures of people I adore landscapes, and weird things.

I think I am getting used to this so I might not need as much help. I saw your response to Kathy about linking posts, so that is helpful!!

Any clue on this one.. I kept getting emails yesterday about "watched threads." I'm guessing this was threads that I am subscribed to. I tried to make it so that I wasn't getting emails every 15 minutes (I had to set to daily emails before) and I somehow wiped them all out. So I am not "watching" those threads any more.... I don't want 231065+4706+54 emails a day about threads, especially the really popular ones I follow, but I don't want to miss any one that I've been following either.

I love all the photos. My kids usually do not want to waste time with the parades, so we don't usually watch. I might have to overrule that next time. Ugh, your snow picture. I do not like snow. Not one bit. We get maybe a couple of days with a bit of snow each year. Thankfully, none so far this year. I am ok with no snow.

Sledding and skating are 2 things I miss and I wish my kids could experience more often. When we get our 2 inches of snow my kids sled down our hill on cardboard. It doesn't work very well. We don't always visit in winter, but in 2009 we spent Christmas at my parent's and we took the kids sledding. With real sleds! They loved it.

For dinner we had pasta with grilled chicken and pesto sauce and sautéed yellow squash.

Hoping your report isn't quite finished.

another little tid bit i found was if you highlight a sentence in a post you can click quote just on what you highlight. That's cool.. before you would have to quote the entire text of a post!

Yes, your subscribed threads are now called WATCHED Lists.. Have no idea why they found it necessary to change that one..

Alert Preferences-- you can change some things around for your watch lists. I do like the alerts on the page. this way i can just hit that and see what's going on in the Dis world!

Aww thank you!!! It was NOT easy to keep this a surprise! Thank GOD for the good folks here on the dis who tried to keep me in check.. they did talk me off the proverbial cliff several times!

I agree sledding is a lot of fun. I would MUCH rather go and visit the snow then have it... HA HA there are tons of places to go skating.. I just haven't had the time to take them over there... The Blackhawks have a tutorial a couple of times a year at one of the local rinks we try to make those..

Yesterday was kinda crazy. Today isn't looking any calmer. Stupid snow.


Good News. a friend of mine daughter was accepted into the Disney College program!!! They are all there now. which is fun for updates on the Poly construction (they are huge Poly fans too) I still don't know about it all.
Once things are all settled they will be moving there!!! I am SO EXCITED for them!!! and i will have a place to stay if needed.

Well let me throw in another update before my meeting today!

We are heading down in 36 days (but who's counting!) according to the little Mickey head on my phone. While we've had a fairly mild winter here in STL, we've had SO many gray days and I'm ready for sun and real warmth!

I can't imagine how hard it is to keep the surprise. I told DH that I really want to do this one day for our little one that's due later this year...he said, "You might have to keep it a secret from me too...I'll be too excited!"
