i don't view this and the cbs thing as similar at all.

and i agree - if you are in journalism and you make quote sup you should be fired.

The Fox thing seems more like the cases where they film obituary stories on older celebrities or politicians ahead of time in order to be ready when they actually do pass way and then get caught airing them early "by mistake".

He SHOULD be fired...but not at Fox...But lest we forget Fox is essentially nothing more than 'entertainment' anyway.

I ONLY watch Fox News. As do more and more Americans. We are sick of the liberal bias that others present. They disciplined the reporter right away, instead of sitting on a story for days like CBS.

I watch Fox News regularly and I like(d) Carl Cameron but I have to say I agree. Reporters just can't make things up or report something without checking to make sure it is legitimate. People should be able to trust that what they see on "the news" is the truth.

Ok, but since this thread is about Faux News making up fake stories and not CBS using documents that were later proven to be unreliable I thought I might stay on topic.

Still, I guess your opinion is that Faux News is just as biased as CBS?
