First of all, this is one of the best things WDW-related on the internet... so who ever runs this thanks!!!!! :wave2: My question is, how do they get this music downloaded? I would love to have the full 68 minute version of Illuminations (I love the music beforehand). Also how could I get some of this music? I click on "Buy" but I can never find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!! :earsboy:

I'm not sure how you would do that, but you could always call (407-363-6200) or e-mail (WDW.MAIL.ORDER@DISNEYWORLD.COM) Disney and order the Iluminations CD from them.

The music we have on MouseHouseRadio we have been collecting for years. Some of it we got from places like aimster, napster and kazaa before downloading became illegal (and yes we did stop when it started to be a big no no ;) ).

Some of it has come from an extensive collection of CDs. We bought the cds in the parks, stores, as well as from ebay.

We have spent hours upon hours upon hours searching the net for music.

I wish I could just point you in one direction, but I can't. The 500+ tracks we have have taken us years and years to collect from many different sources.

I was wondering how they got all that Disney music online too. Thanks for answering! :earsgirl:

Thanks for the mention Figment ;)

I've gotten my music all over the net but the best repository I've found is on USENET in the alt.binaries.disney.parks group. Lots of fun stuff to download (all free, contact your Internet service provider for info on how to access usenet(also known as newsgroups).

I've got Mouse House Radio on right now.

Can I just say thank you to all the folks behind it for being my Disney methadone to get me through the next 297 days? :bounce: :bounce:

Thank you. :) It helps us get through it too. I am about to jump out of my skin lately... getting closer every second.

There are several Disney-specific newsgroups that many folks (including myself) upload to. Feel free to post a request, and we'll do our best to get it up there.

alt.binaries.multimedia.disney
alt.binaries.multimedia.disney.parks
alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.disney

I've also used LimeWire, WinMX & SoulSeek to find lots of disney music. I've also got another good source, but not sure if it's "ok" to post that information here (feel free to PM me!)

Hi  Below is what I pulled from the Live 365 help page. Let me know if it does help.

"Log in to Live365, go to the Listening Settings page, change your selection in the MP3 Player section, and click Save Settings at the bottom of the page. We strongly recommend using Radio365, our stand-alone desktop player. You can use Radio365 to access every Live365 station without needing to visit the Live365 website. Using Radio365 will typically work for users that have problems with browser inconsitencies.
Note: if you choose Windows Media Player or Real Player, it will appear as a browser plugin, embedded in the Live365 Player Window, so you will not see these media players launch separately. If you would like to use the full version of either of these players, you will need to select "MP3 Player" as your player of choice. Your system will then launch its default MP3 player.
"

Well I finally got it up and playing in Mei :sad2: da Player, however; it would play for 10-15 seconds and then stop for 5-10 seconds. It did this all night. I left it up until morning and sure enough it was still doing this constant stopping every 15 seconds. Anyone have a clue why? I was considering downloading Winamp but I dont know if this will solve the problem.

Is there a reason why you aren't just using the Live365 free broadcaster? It works great for us and is a safe download.

Here is what is happening when I chose Radio 365. I go to hit the play button (big yellow button) I then get a screen that asks me if I want to save this file. I click save. Then it wants me to save it in program files so I click save. Then it states download complete and says either open or open file. So I click open. I then get a screen that says windows can not find this file play.365e. It asks if I want to use the web service to find the file in which is was created. So I try that and I get directed to microsoft windows file associations. WHAT A MESS. And now I cant get mouse radio to play at all. HELP............................

I downloaded radio 365.com but I still have the same problem of a hesitation every 5 seconds. I assuming it is because we are on a 56k modem connection and living out in the country. By the time the line hits us we are at 28k. This has to be the reason. So much for listening to mouse radio. :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

wisbucky, I sometimes have the same problem as you. Sometimes it comes in better than others (late night for me, or mid-day). Someday I will have an internet connection that is faster than 56k!
