Mousesavers reporting a huge deal for first half of 2009 coming tomorrow!

While we are all just patiently waiting, maybe someone can answer a question or two for me.

I have read some posts that say ppl have been able to book up to 3 rooms using a code. Is that usually the case with the codes or does it vary with each code?

If I book 3 rooms for the same dates and same resort using a package code, will I have to pay a $200.00 deposit for each of the 3 rooms or just $200.00 total?

BTW: I am leaving tomorrow for our 1st family trip. I have a million things to do and I can't seem to start anything because I am to busy trying to figure out this code for a future trip.

I think that if the 3 free nights also has the free dining attached to those nights, it will be a great deal!

Am I doing my math wrong, because I am missing how this is a huge deal. It seems kind of mediocre to me. I am trying to get all excited like you guys are!

So I priced out my family of 5 for POR for March 10-14 (to figure out what the price is). With standard view, basic tickets, this is $1964. Subtract the $200 gift card, so $1764 ultimately. Add dining, we are looking at $2416 (or more, that's pricing only 4 days of dining..) ultimately $2216 after the gift card.

We went in August, using the free dining promo..our package was $2100. So this new promo, this HUGE deal, is actually $100 more, at least.

Am I missing something? This isn't really that great of a deal unless you were going anyway, not a reason to book a trip especially because of this deal.

I'm not sure of your dates in August. But most of that month was value season. March is definitely not value. It is peak season. If you changed your 09 dates to Jan or Feb, you would probably see a significant savings.

Jerseygirl you just justified all of us going to Disney! I can now say that I am doing my part to help the economy. I am helping to save peoples jobs!!! The way it is (supposedly) worded - "Buy 4 nights, get 3 Free" is where the hook is to get people to say "Wow, that is a deal!".

If it were possible to book room only with this (supposed) deal it would be better than the AP/FL res. rates that I've gotten in the last couple of years. The brainiacs that are the Disney marking gurus probably leaked that discount rumor to see what all of the WDW forums are saying to get a feel for how well they think it will fly.

As far as I know it will be bookable this afternoon. The reservations center is normally open until 8:00 pm Eastern.

I just want to know where some posters have gotten the info on the possible announcement? I mean, I don't even understand how Mary of Mousesavers gets her inside info, if Disney is so secretive!!
