Mousekeeping Question

We are heading to All Star Music later in August, had to change from POFQ in September since we changed our dates. Anyway I know that pool towels have to come from the room.

My question is what if I leave our do not disturb sign up daily will mousekeeping still leave towels maybe hanging on our door or something?

Also if I call for towels pool or shower do I tip the person who brings them?

I can't say I've ever thought to tip the person bringing us towels...especially since we're not always there when they do. We grab the towels go swim, and ask them to replenish our supply for showers while we're swimming. The last time we called for towels (at ASMo) they brought it into our room despite the do not disturb sign, which is just fine for us.

I usually go to the front desk and grab pool towels from them on our way out to swim.

I had no idea that they were available at the front desk. That helps that question.

Then daily mousekeeping if I want to skip that because I do not want my room being left open and having things potentially disappear, do you think they will leave towels daily hanging in a bag or something on my door or I am just being paranoid?

We had something go missing from our room at the Poly once so I requested no mousekeeping for the rest of the trip. They left garbage bags outside our door during the day with clean towels each day after that.

good to know. I am paranoid about my son's diabetes stuff disappearing along with other stuff. So I am hoping to avoid that and just not have mousekeeping.

in our experience if you have the do not disturb sign out they'll leave you a bag with towels, shampoo, soap etc.

Also for folks at AS Music you can often pick up extra towels at the Calypso buildings (the ones next to the main pool) they usually have a large (purple?) towel container where you can just go over and grab some. You have to know about it. If that container isn't out just walk over to the main building and you can get towels there.

Pool towels look different then your room towels.
There will be a big roll away cart thingy full of pool towels by the pool.

As far as Mouskeeping. We keep our room as we keep our house..neat and tidy! We have Mousekeeping in maybe once during a week long trip. And thats if I can convince my DH to allow them to come in and do the floors


They will leave you a drawstring bag on your doorknob with room towels, wash clothes, toilet paper , shampoo, soap. We leave our garbage and used towels in a pile right outside the door.
