Mousekeeping/do not disturb

I know years ago we put out the "do not disturb" tag and mousekeeping left a bag of towels and toiletries hanging on the door knob when we returned. I have not done this in years though. Can anyone confirm if this is still the case?

I leave in a little over a week and I just can't help but think of all these little details now

At ASsports last year they did but this year they did not. We left the room early by 7:30 came back at 1:30 room still not clean. Wanted to put DGD4 down for a nap so I put out the sign. They didn't leave a bag of towels and such. Thankfully we hung up the towels and brought our own shampoo. If they don't just call mouse keeping. By the time we got back from MK that night it was 11:45. We couldn't be bothered at that time.

In November they still did. We went to the park for the day and came back to a bag hanging on the door. Some joker had put a "Do not disturb" sign on our door!

May depend on the resort. I don't think I've ever seen it at a deluxe resort. I stayed at BLT last month, I put the DND on my door on trash & towel day, no bag was left. I got a voice mail saying that they respected my request for privacy and to contact housekeeping if I needed anything.

That was my experience as well earlier this year as well! Only happened once on a day that I just couldn't manage to get out of the room before 3pm...

DH and I are late sleepers so we often got the bag on the door. Had towels and shampoo. Now we try to run out of the room when we here mousekeeping next door so someone will make our bed

They did in December at CBR. Left us a huge bag of stuff.

Got back Friday from a weeks stay at the Contemporary and we did not get anything left at the door but we received a voicemail on our room phone saying that if we needed anything to just call.

They did this for us last week at POR. We got a big bag of towels, soaps and even a towel turtle!

Just checked out from Caribbean resort Friday and everyday we left "do not disturb" tag on door. Everyday we came back to bag of towels/soap I the door.

At POFQ in January, I got the bag a couple days, and not a couple other days. And it always wasn't the same bag of stuff. Then one day, nothing at all. There was always coffee, but not always the shampoo/soaps. I don't think the Deluxes want bags hanging out in the hallways, so they leave you a message.

I have had bags with towels & supplies left at our door at Poly, AKL and ASMo.

We only used housekeeping one day on this trip and they never left anything on the door. Of course, the one day we had them in they barely did anything which is why I prefer to just skip it. I clean the room when I get there and I can make my own bed.

I usually call in the morn or the day before and tell housekeeping that I will not need service but would like supplies. Then they leave me the bag. I've also had them leave me a bag when I didn't ask for it, but I had still called and requested no service.

Ditto, on my solo trips I have one day where I leave out the DND sign and stay in bed all day. They leave supplies on the door.
