MouseFest 2005

I've been to MouseFest the last two years and plan on going this year, too.

This year, the land portion will come first, from Nov 30-Dec 3, and the cruise (no, I haven't done the cruise either year) will be Dec 4-8. Mega-Mouse Meet will be Dec 3, and recently announced, the official MVMCP night will be Dec 1 (I already have my ticket for that!)

Anybody else going to MouseFest?

Anybody else planning a WDW trip that week that has never heard of MouseFest? Maybe you could come to an event or two.

Have you heard if Pete Werner will be there this year? It sure would be nice to have the DIS webmaster himself there at Mousefest along with all of the other webmasters and book authors.

Deb Wills website at www.AllEarsNet.com was the very first unofficial Disney site that I ever visited for WDW information. But Pete Werner's websites, www.DISboards.com is largest and most active unofficial WDW forum that I have ever seen. I've lost count of how many forums there are.

And there are so many other meets by so many other WDW unofficial websites like Jennifer and Dave Marx at www.PassPorter.com . Don't they have the best Disney Cruise book in the world? And Dave Card at www.tagrel.com is such a friendly forum, and all the wonderful WDW trivia at Louis Mongello's website at www.DisneyWorldTrivia.com . And you need to go on Dr. Steve Barrett's hidden mickey tours at all of the parks.

Wouldn't you like to meet all of these neat folks at WDW in person. Especially during December with all of the holiday lights and events.

I vote yes.

And we need a lot more DIS meets at the Mousefest, too. I really miss those DIS meets in December.

Belinda and Danny will be having a DIS meet on December 4th at Old Key West resort. I went to that one two years ago and it was wonderful. I will miss it this year by just hours.

I want Pete Werner at the Mousefest this year. Anyone have any pull to get him there?

Hi, Jen. You won't have to be alone at MVMCP on December 1st if you don't want to be. Deb Wills and Mousefest will usually have a meet before the MVMCP Wishes fireworks. Everyone and anyone is welcome.

Here is a thread that I put together last year to give you an idea of how many different meets there were during the same time that you will be there.

More information will come out the closer December gets.

Most meets can be a brief hello, or a ride on a attraction ride, or parade, or a meal, or fireworks.

I hope to see you on December 1st at MVMCP.

I've gone the last 2 years and had a wonderful time at each!!! I'm not sure if I can make this years MF, b/c were doing the marathon a month later. I am going to try and sneak down for a few days though. I will do my best and hope to see you all there!!

I did have the pleasure of meeting Mr. Ray Sharpton for a short monorail ride last time. It was great meeting you!! Hopefully I'll see you again this Dec.

I'll be there from 11/30-12/4...also will miss Danny's meet by hours. I'll be at the airport the time of the meet at OKW. But, I'm looking forward to doing some of the Mousefest stuff with other Dis'ers. Would love to have Pete W. there. Wouldn't that be great. Also going to MVMCP on 12/1. Now I just have to buy my ticket. I'll do that when I get back from WDW on 6/26!!

See you guys in Dec!!!! Ray's right....we need at least one or two more formal meets. Something on the 1st at MVMCP and maybe on Sat, the 3rd. We have Karen's meet at Jellyrolls on the 2nd.

The official MouseFest night for MVMCP is Dec 1. There is already an official Passporter meet that night, and at least one official MouseFest meet is in the works.

It would be great to have a DIS meet sometime that night, too.

Something tells me I'll be mighty busy, rushing from meet to meet...

This will be the first December I've missed going to WDW since 1997, but I will be there in October for the Food & Wine Festival and the Halloween party. Having said that, I'm seriously interested in the Mousefest cruise for 2006, so hopefully I'll be able to get the time off work.

Lou is one of those guys who seems to go 24-hrs a day during MouseFest, from meet to meet to function to function and then back to some more meets. I know of several of the webmasters and authors who sponsor MouseFest who are like that; they want to see EVERYBODY!

So I'll see ya there Lou; it'll be like that Gateway commercial with all the delivery guys running across a field. I'll run up beside you and Mike Scopa and Len Testa and Jim Hill and Deb Wills and the Marx family and a bunch of others as you all run across the Epcot parking lot...

So, how are you enjoying MouseFest so far, Lou?

Lou, do you have an idea what day you'll have your trivia contest? Are the chances it will be before Dec 4?

I was there last year, didn't play, but sure enjoyed it. I learned how much I don't know.
