Aww its a start- i like doing stuff like that apart from stripping wallpaper- we have woodchip everywhere in our house- i hate it too loool

At least you guys can decorate! We're in rented so can;t really.

And our landlords clearly REALLY liked changing rooms as every room is decorated either with the 'sponge', 'stencil' or 'scrunched up plastic bag' effect. Plus our kitchen is blue, conservatory green, living room yellow and hallway orange.

Our study (formally childs bedroom I'm hoping) does have glow in the dark dinosaur wallpaper though. I'm sure if it hadn;t have been the small room Jack would have wanted that as our bedroom!

Glow in the dark dinosaurs -Sounds nice :rotfl:

Aleast you have you own place- i'd put up with any decor for that!!

Personally I don't understand it either. To visit a psychiatrist for depression and be told to stop doing what makes you happy makes little sense to me!

Just don't let him read the Dis forums else he'll probably get you cut off from here because of everything that's been said about him in this thread ;)

 I hate decorating!

I have this awful unit in one the alcoves which someone decided to put there, I am trying to remove it with a hammer and wallpaper scraper (with no luck mind you :rotfl:) Its like its been stuck into place with super super glue.

No idea how many people have lived here before me but they all seem to of had the same idea to keep painting the unit white, its sick.

The sooner i get rid of the unit its better, it gives me nightmares.:headache:

He even told me i need to stay away from this forum :confused3

I can understand why he thinks i have addictive personality but to say Disney is bad for my health, i think he is the insane one. Luckily i forget to mention my annual passport plans :lmao:

Are you sure he's a qualified psychiatrist? How could anyone prevent anyone from going to DLP? :rotfl: Surely that's not right???

Hope you manage to get rid of that unit soon. Be careful not to rip the plaster off the walls. I haven't done something like that before but a friend of mine did and she thought she was being careful but instead ripped the plaster off instead - and that meant more work & money as she had to get plasterers in :sad2: We haven't done anything that 'major' like ripping things out - wish we had before we started filling this house up when we moved in all those years ago.

Luckily i havent taken any plaster off yet...but i wont speak too soon :rotfl:
I hope my Dad can come and help remove this unit so I can finish stripping the walls.
