Congratulation to Steve and welcome to Lucas, how life changes with just one small addition. Just about ready to take Josh (2) for his first experience of Disney Parks, 10 times previously we have done and gone where we wanted but now we have a new trip planner and what he says goes.

We went to our local(ish) park on Monday and DH spotted this plant/shrub/whatever lol. Was quite surprised he even noticed it in the first place. Mind you, he is taller than me, so he gets better views from the top :rotfl:

Can't help wondering if it's a natural formation or maybe the park gardener is one of us ;)

does anyone know if you have to notify the restaurant before you get there if you want the vegetarian option or do you just order it at the table- the kids chicken and mushroom sauce sounds so yummy though- but the difference in the price - whew!

You can just order it when you're there. We'll be there again soon and I'm SO looking forward to it!

I am a vegetarian and there was no need to preorder, they were fine with the order being taken at the table.

Britchic4- Thank you for letting us know we don't have to pre-order the vegetarion option. What type of pasta dish was it? When was the last time you ate there?

I think it was a cheese tortellini, this was in February. Seems like there have been a few changes, but it's still likely to be a pasta dish I would imagine.

Our Disney experience started today, we leave for DLP on Tuesday but today took Josh (2) to see Playhouse Disney Live. It was a great show, just like a show from the parks the players were all far too enthusiastic and perky. Josh could not take his eyes off the stage, although he is not big on joining in even he patted to get Rocket off the ground (Playhouse Disney parents will know what I mean).

The merchandise is punch you in the kidneys expensive but no more so than other live shows, Mickey plush (bigger then beany type) £21.

Well I am quite sure that all the kids out there are gonna love it and like all the parents today the grown ups will be singing and joining in more.

Sound like Josh had a ball :) I know what you mean about the merchandise - the Disney on Ice prices are beyond a joke :confused3

Glad Josh had a lovely time :thumbsup2
My eldest 14 now, was filmed in infant school for Bear in the Big Blue House ~ the bit in the show where children talk about a subject ~ it was sports I think, I've seen it twice just happened to catch it on TV when his brother was a fan, but I would love to know which episode it was so I could get a copy.

BTW Better start saving, I can see you will be planning another trip for next year, if the rumours of Playhouse Disney coming to WDS are true. ;)

Was you able to take photos?

The official line is "No you cannot take photos" ;) ;)

Well it actually says no Flash photography and no video taping, however we did see people taking pics and some were still using the flash, so no different to the parks then.

I would defo take a camera even just for pics of Kyra.
