Mouse Gear Odor???

Yeah, it's just so weird. Because we don't smell that smell pretty much anywhere else on Disney property! I have smelled something bad by the walkway to Epcot from the Beach Club. That whole Epcot and Resort area must have some sort of problem or something if a lot of us are smelling these smells all over Epcot and the resort area. But it really does smell bad. You think CMs who work in there would have noticed it by now.

Eww! I've never noticed but will check it out in a couple of weeks. This upsets me because we often spend hours in there dancing to that great song "Hey Hey Mickey" that's always on!

Well I hate to say it but Mouse Gears still stinks! For the last the years, and most recently today, I walked into Mouse Gears and was greeted with the strong aroma of overflowing toilets. It smelled as if the carpet was saturated with sewage. It's a shame they haven't been able to figure out the problem after all these years

hey, someone could write a new guide "gross things in wdw". beverly, odor in mouse gears, odor in germany toy store... there's 3 to start someone off. there's always a few fanatics around who would buy it.

YES!! The monorails smell like old, wet Band-Aids to me! Each time I hear someone praise the perks of the monorails I think, "why? They smell disgusting inside!"

Does it really still stink in there?? I am shocked it has not been fixed. Last year I thought the smell had gotten worse than previous years and actually commented on it to a CM. He said he thought it was a dampness issue due to a blockage underground and that it should be getting resolved. I hate not being able to browse in here due to the smell, it's one of those that is bad but not full blown and yet somehow manages to turn your stomach, gross! They want to get some heavy duty odor eliminator in there at least!!

Well, we go often and have never noticed the smell. We will be there again in a few days and now we will have to looking for this smell.

I don't remember any smell but its been awhile since I've been there. Now, because of this thread I'm sure I'll notice it.

We were in Mouse Gear yesterday. I didn't notice an odor, but I did notice it was cold in there. Like arctic cold! It was the only time all day that I actually couldn't wait to get back out into the heat of the day!

I have never noticed the MouseGears smell but I have definitely noticed the stench on the monorail. Ugh! Also...the walkway between the Contemporary and the MK (right under the monorail tracks) always smells like puke. It is positively vile!

The cold is to keep down the rot, thus the lack of smell.

Yes I brought this thread back from the dead because the smell is that bad lol
