Would you like to imagine how could the MGM motor stunt show be?

Well … really these pictures are from the Disney Studios in Paris … but I do not expect too many differences !

"Burning Motorcyclists"!!!???
Yikes....that could be very frightening to younger guests!
I know it is a stunt....but kids younger than maybe 9....might be very frightened!
What do you think?

I don't think children will be that frightened. Children do fine at the Indy stunt show. I'm sure signs are posted about the explosions and such as well if parents aren't bright enough to read them that's their own problem.

Or maybe we should petition Disney execs to turn it into a less frightening Stitch themed attraction. :p ;)

Walt wanted Disney World to have something for the entire family, that means attractions they can both share and enjoy seperately. That's why someone was creative enough to come up with kid swapping. :D

Yes, but there aren't people on fire. :earseek: Just cars and planes.
I guess we will have to just wait and see.

When is it scheduled to start?

Thanks.

Mighty nice of yall to share with us. :) Thanks!!!

I just can't wait for Soaring!

My suggestion, if you think your kid will be scared, don't let 'em see the attraction.

My kids age 7 and 8 loved the stunt show at DLP. It was one of the few things worth going to DLP for! My guess is that the American version will be bigger and contain more stunts.
Comparing it to Indiana Jones- well, there are loud explosion in Indian Jones that coukld as easily frighten young kids. As with Indian Jones the commentary explains how the stunts are performed ie the motorcyclist in fireproof suit. It actually shows a video of the morcyclist suiting up for the fire stunt layer by layer, and after the stunt shows that he is ok.

The stunt show was the best attraction (with cinemagique)of our theme park "Walt Disney Studios" The conceptor was the first important french stuntman who's name is Remy Julienne he create many stunt for any James Bond and other great french and international movies. The show it's so nice.
If you don't know Cinemagique it's a movie show where a "guest inside the shomroom" have his phone which ring a cast member help the man who's going on the scene and he will enter by accident inside a black and white movie and inside the movie he have many adventures (romantic,action,western....) (it's a compilation of different best moments of great movies to recreate an adventure )you have an exemple of compilation inside the great movie ride(at the end of the attraction).

The stadium is fantasitic. We saw it on the backlot tour. They were evidently practicing on Friday of last week. This looks like a great attraction.

I don't like this show at all. In my view one stunt show is more than enough. We saw it in DLP but I don't want to see it again. Personally I wish they'd kept Hunchback.

Bingo. Ain't it great how the most obvious solution is usually the correct one?!?!

The Travel Channel occasionally runs an hour-long program on Disneyland Paris which has a rather extensive piece on this attraction. Well worth a watch.

Thanks for the photos, MICKEY'S DREAMERS.

Does anyone know the dates for, when the Motor Stunt show is going to open?

THANK YOU!!! :worship: THANK YOU!!:worship: THANK YOU!!!! :worship:

DS is an absolute car fanatic! Everything is cars for him...it's his passion. I know he will really enjoy this stunt show this year when we go....matter of fact, I'm betting we see it at least 3 or 4 times in one day! He will absolutely love it and I will be sure to show him your pics in the morning!! Thanks again so very much!!!

I'm looking foward to it's opening day. We are not fans of "stunt shows", it's just not us, but judging by the size of the stadium, it will probably suck up a lot of guests, leaving other lines hopefully, shorter. Of course, when that show lets out, LOOKOUT, hordes of guests spilling out into the cityscape streets. Along those lines, I hope that the other rumor going around about changing the Indy stunt show to the Indy ride from DL comes to fruition. I don't think they need two stunt shows in the same park, IMHO.

PS; Opening is scheduled for May 2005.

MICKEY'S DREAMERS I have a DGH too!!!! I love the nickname - too funny!! :jumping1:

Thanks for the great pics, too! We will be at WDW at the end of April and are really hoping to hit some soft openings, especially Soarin'. Now, I've added this to the list.
