Have anyone ever used "Relief Band" for motion sickness. We saw it at Sharper Image and wondered if anyone had experience with it. My husband get very ill when flying-and this might make the experience much more enjoyable!!

I've used "Sea Bands" which are in pretty much any pharmacy and many grocery stores for $10-12. I would think they work on the same principle for a lot less money. They work for me.

I've used it! The first time was on my first cruise - I used it when crossing the Gulf Stream and I had no illness. 'Course, dh said the seas were hardly "rough" so I suspected that it wasn't a good test.

So, that summer I took it to the boardwalk amusements with me. I got on the Tilt-A-Whirl with my family - a ride I haven't been able to ride since I was a kid. I turned the Relief Band up to 5. Due to our weight distribution in the car, we spun wildly the entire ride. My other family members, none of whom get motion sick, were dizzy and a bit light headed after the ride. So was I - but it passed quickly. None of the sick stomach, funky head feeling that in the past would last for a day or even more.

So, yep, I think it works.

Do a search online for different places to buy one, as some places charge way more than others for the same product. I think I got mine at Drugstore.com. And I would recomend getting a model with a replaceable battery, so you can keep it for a long time. I have the "Explorer" model.

BTW, the company that makes the Relief Band (Woodside Biomedical) is a good one to do business with. I stupidly broke a piece in the battery compartment and sent it back to them for repair - they sent me a brand new one, no charge.

Hope this helps!:)
