Motion Sickness

Where do you find the ginger? I have seen Ginger Root caplets by Rexall. Would that work? pixiedust:

I understand that's exactly what you need. Told my MythBusting DH I posted on this thread and somebody replied that MythBusters proved it worked, so of course he said, "It does! I saw that episode!" Why am I not surprised? :rotfl:

I have tried Ginger to ward off seasickness. Everything I ate tasted like ginger, I burped ginger and it gave me a raging headache. Luckly I started about 4 days before the cruise and quit taking it before we left.

I am leaving Monday. Within the last few years I have developed motion sickness issues. I decided I didn't want to use Dramine/Bromine because I get so sleepy so easily plus they can effect my stomach. I purchased a homeopathic remedy called CanTravel. You can google it and find the seller. It is a bit pricey but it includes mint, ginger and a few other homeopathic items I can't recall off the top of my head. I will give a report about how I did after the trip. I am using it today for a long car ride so hopefully it will help me not get car sick. :thumbsup2

Well, I used my CanTravel on a 1 1/2 car ride. I was in the back seat which would normally kill me. I actually read a Disney map, looked at pictures and looked outside all the windows with no trouble at all. :cool1:
