Mother's Day

We're sailing on the Magic for Mothers Day. Does anyone know if there will be anything special done?

Not that I am aware of. Has anyone else traveled on Mother's day before???. I ordered some flowers to be delivered from Shirley at The Perfect Gift. - Mike

I haven't traveled on Mothers day, however this is my mothers day cruise with my DD6 and myself alone and have done some checking. Basically it is what you make of it....nothing out of the ordinary I suppose unless you ask at sunday dinner or lunch, etc. then they may (for a fee, lol)
Just being there is a great gift but flowers are always beautiful.
I guess I will have to send MYSELF some! LOL

I've cruised the last two Mother's Days, and no, there is nothing special done. Palo Brunch seems to be really popular that day though. If you are into pin trading, there is also a mother's day pin that you can buy. Mine has Cinderella's stepmother and the stepsisters and says Mothers Day 2003

The only thing I noticed on Mother's day were decorated cakes at the entrance of each dining room at dinner.

We did Palo for bunch that day, which made it special for me! But just being on the ship was enough for me - maybe I'm to easy to please??

We cruised Mother's Day two years ago. The Captain made a nice announcement on the intercom during the day and the waiters served a special cake to all the mothers at dinner. That was about it.
