On Mother's Day what do you think would be LEAST crowded

Disneyland
DCA
San Diego Zoo
Legoland
Santa Monica Pier

My understanding is the beaches are pretty full on that day, is that true?

Having just come from DL/DCA that were both so packed you could barely walk, I'd have to say those two places will be HORRIBLE!

I dont know about Legoland but the zoo might be alright. I mean, I dont think I've ever been there when its packed and I think you also have the option of going to Balboa Park if you want something else to do. You can go to Hotel Del for dinner in Coronado.

I would ask my guys to take me on a different weekend. Seriously, we stay home on MD because the crowds aren't worth it. They can love me the next weekend. :rotfl2:

We go all the time and are 10 minutes from the zoo...so do it from open until around 1PM when all the grumpy Mother's Day Brunch bloated people arrive!!

Any Sunday is pretty crowded, but Mother's day seems extra!!

Thanks for all the thoughts. I would love to skip Mother's Day and do nothing but we will be on vacation out there that week. We only have so many days and probably will never go to So. California again.

I would guess either DCA or legoland would be the least crowded. I dont think, in general, either of those parks ever get packed. I was at DL on Mothers day 2000, and I dont recall it being terribly packed and that was before DCA was built.

I don't know....my family was asking me if I wanted to go this weekend....LOL I told them no but mostly because we were there last weekend. It will probably be crowded but if you plan it well and use FP's wisely you can still get on every ride you want!! To be honest....I really DO want to go again this weekend...I reallllllly do!!!! LOL

we are going on Sunday and I was hoping that it would not be busy.. I guess I should expect the crowds...

We were at DLR on Mother's Day last year and I didn't think it was that crowded at all IMO. We stayed through the week and on Tuesday, it was very crowded with school kids, youth groups, etc. I would go back on Mother's Day if I could, but we're not able to go this year. I loved being there with my DS on that day, and he had a lot of fun picking out a carnation for me to wear. (They have them on tables right after you enter the park). :)
