I just called to make an ADR in May and I got a really nice person on the phone. He took about 10 minutes or more to check for me if they would have the Hero characters again in EPCOT this year for Mother's Day 2006. After checking, he said their computer still shows last years info but that I could check back in a month or two and find out if they will be having it. Right now, they show the lunch times but there was no info on if the hero/princes would be there. :sunny:

oohhh I wish they would just do a Hero's meal EVERYDAY!!

A couple of points:

Here is a link to 2005 information. It was actually a brunch, not a lunch.

Secondly, I want to emphasize--particularly since this meal is very expensive--that it is NOT a character meal!!! The heroes/princes are only in the "waiting area" while you are waiting to be seated at your table. Once inside the vast ballroom-type space of World Showplace, the atmosphere is quite adult and includes a strolling guitarist and subdued lighting. Children and adults alike will be disappointed if they expect to meet and greet characters while eating.

Hope this helps,

Bob

Thank you for the reply. I do understand that the characters were not inside last year, but, at least for my family, it be be worth it to see them all in one place whether it is outside or during the meal.
