Any info on Mother's day brunch at EPCOT would be appreciated. We currently have a reservation for 7 adults, 1 child and 1 toddler. Is there enough things to eat for vegetarians, child and toddler?

What are some of the positives and negatives about this brunch vs. other brunches.

Thanks in advance.

thanks Kim.

Did anyone attend the brunch in the past who can share their experince? How about any mothers? Did you like the atmosphere?

We had the Mother's Day Food Among the Flowers Brunch at the Odyssey 2 years ago. There were gorgeous flower displays all over the place & more food than anyone could possibly eat! The food was set up in various stations; omelettes, eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, home fries in one area; salads of every type, cheese & fruit in another;pastries, danish, rolls, croissants in yet another; hot entrees, pastas, and veggies next; rounded out with desserts of every variety.
We didn't feel rushed, the servers brought beverages & even a flower for Mom (me)! It was an enjoyable meal.

My daughter and I have a PS for the Mother's Day brunch at Epcot . Does any one know how the seating is done? Is it individual tables or large rounds ones where you would be seated with other people?

I saw on the link above to Deb's site that there was a Mother's Day event at the Yachtman's Steakhouse too. Is this is a buffet or what? It wasn't very clear.

Thanks alot!:D

We attended this brunch last year and, I hate to be a downer, but we were really disappointed. I attended with my mother and my two daughters (seemed like a neat multi-generational mother's Day outing! :) ). I made the PS the day they became available and I read over all the old menus...we were really excited. We arrived 15 minutes before our PS time (as requested) and were not seated for over 45 minutes. There were TONS of people waiting outside the doors (you can't go in until you are called). It didn't help that it was VERY HOT out and the crowd was getting restless.
Once we finally got in I was not impressed with the decoration or more specifically, the flowers. I guess I was expecting beautiful displays and arrangements. Instead, it was a lot of fabric drapes with a few stems here and there. Overall, I thought it looked guady. On the positive side, it was very cool and quiet inside and we really felt that we were miles away from EPCOT. There was a harp player which was a very nice touch
When we finally were seated we waited and waited for a server...who never came. Since it was a buffet we figured we would just help ourselves. The food was pretty good and we all found things we enjoyed. The omelet station was yummy as well as the prime rib. My DDs loved the pasta and fruit. As I said, it was pretty good, but honestly, it seemed about the same as Chef Mickey's.
I had to hunt down a server to get beverages (some were delivered and we never saw another server at our table...which is just a tad annoying since gratuity is included with the bill!)
I was very excited to try the dessert table as it looked fabulous. There had to have been 12 or 15 different desserts. I kid you not, between the four of us we tried every dessert (a little embarassing) and we did not care for anything but the oatmeal raisin cookies (same cookies they have at Poly conc lounge).
We ate all that we cared for and headed for the door. We saw the flowers that all moms were supposed to get---no one was handing them out as we were leaving...we kind of even waited around to see if we would get one, but no luck. Finally my mom said "why would we want to carry a flower around in 90 degree heat any way...?" Good point......
So, we just left.....
Overall it was a major disappointment. Not at all the special Mother's Day event I had anticipated. I would not spend the money on it ever again. I wish this wasn't my report as I want every experience to be great...but it is. :(

My DH, Dsis, mom and I have ressies for the Yachtman for Mother's Day-all I know is that it's a flat fee (~$44.00!!) If anyone has any info on this, please let me know!!

Thanks!
