We just got back last night from 5 nights/6 days in WDW. It was my 7 yr old dd and I, a "Girls Trip". I have created a second generation Disney fanatic. :thumbsup2
I am planning on actually writing and completing a trip report. We had a GREAT time. My dd discovered her love of meeting characters and getting their autographs, so we spent a lot of time doing that.

Details:
Dates: 11/19-11/23
Hotel: Pop Century
Special Events: MVMCP 11/19
Dining: QSDP

Plans:
Thurs.- Epcot (am), T-Rex (2 pm), MVMCP (5-12)
Friday- DHS
Sat. - AK
Sun.- MK
Mon.- Epcot
Tues.- MK (leave for home around 4)

Previous recent trips: Spring Break- April 2009
Thanksgiving- Nov 2009
Memorial Day- (solo trip, me) 5/31 - 6/4
(I grew up 3 hours from WDW and have been going since 1974. I remember when Epcot opened and had never gone to DHS or AK until our Spring break 2009 trip.)

We took Thursday and Friday off from school (very good choice) and left Georgia Wed. around 4 pm after school. We stayed overnight in Ocala so we would be refreshed for a full day at Disney Thursday. This is the first time we did the Christmas party and we had tickets for that Thursday night.
We checked into Pop Thursday morning around 8:40 am. We got room 3248, 50s building, building 3, 2nd floor. Surprisingly our room was ready but it didn't matter, we headed right to Epcot.

Got to Epcot around 9:10. Not crowded at all! We got a FP for Test Track and then rode it, it was walk on. We rode it again, walk on. Then we headed over to Soarin' and got a FP and rode it walk-on (maybe 10 minute wait!). Then we got a snack in Sunshine Seasons (chocolate cake and Creme Brulee) and then rode Living with the Land (walk on). She loved that ride too. After that we headed to Innoventions and did the Piggy Bank Adventure. We loved it and won, we saved enough money for our dream vacation! My dd loved it!! Next we went to Mission Space and rode that (green side) and then used our FP for test track (only 20 min wait but why wait?). We went and rode Mission Space again. We headed back to Soarin' and rode again with the FP (got front row!!). After that we went and rode Test Track again (her favorite ride) and then rode Spaceship Earth. It was around 1 by then, so we headed to T-Rex for our 2 pm reservation. My dd loves dinosaurs, always has, so this place was a must. The food was ok and it was loud but the dinos everywhere and themed rooms were awesome. We sat by the fire pit. Would I eat there again? Probably not but we had to try it once. After that we went to Build a Dino (she loves stuffed animals) and she got a Sabertooth Tiger. After choosing some clothes for it we were on our way. She named him Toothy. I have some photos of Toothy I will add tomorrow.

We went back to the room to bring in our luggage and get changed for the Christmas party. The room was very nice, small but nice. We were Housekeeping Family of the day. We got a certificate and a cool rubik cube. My dd thought that was amazing! She was really thrilled about it. Whenever something good would happen on the trip (like 2 sets of TSMM fast passes) she would say it was probably because we were family of the day. LOL
We usually rent points and stay at SSR, AKV, or OKW but I couldn't pass up the good deal we got at Pop. We got a great rate and a $200 gift card, so that sealed the deal, plus we really only were there to sleep and it was just the 2 of us, so it was perfect! I really liked Pop, the room was very nice but small, so a family of four might be cramped. I did miss the balcony, coffee pot, and refrigerator. I would definintely recommend Pop. We didn't use the busses except for once, so I cannot comment on that.

I am going to stop here and resume with the amazing MCMCP. I will also add pictures after I upload them on to photobucket. Also, I saw the crowds go from a 4 to an 8 and guess what? An 8 really is double the amount of people from a 4!!

Glad y'all had a great trip! Can't wait to see pics of your daughter. I'm taking my dd next week to celebrate her 25th birthday.
