What a pain with the luggage! I am glad to hear Disney tried to make it right with the pizza though!

We were in Barbados in October, too! I really liked the location!

Yeah! I knew Disney would take good care of me! It wasn't a super-big mix-up so I was more than happy to let it go! And yeah, I think if I ever did stay at CBR, I would request Barbados again!

We decided to wait til next weekend to see the tulips.
It was cooler weather here today and we were happy to have a quiet relaxing day instead. And it was complete with some Mickey waffles!

I love Yoplait whipped Key lime pie!

Funny you get Cherry Coke.... I get Cherry Pepsi.

I usually come home with Hawiian Punch & Chex Mix along with "many" other things.

I was wondering which diet plan you are doing?
I need to get onto a plan and I'm confused which one to do.

Yep! Everything turned out just fine and thankfully we had no other luggage mishaps! I have to say, I'm not a fan of cherry pepsi...I'm more of a coke girl in general! I just am so mindboggled about why you just can't the same stuff here! And yeah, we had the cold weather too! It was rotten! Did you get the rumoured snow?

As for the diet plan, I'm not on a specific one. I'm not sure if I mentioned this to you, but I was having some nasty sypmtoms and I wasn't sure what it was - I was thinking diabetes or thyroid problems. So I went and had bloodwork done and as it turns out, I have seriously seriously high cholesterol, and with all the stress I had been under at work, I was starting to develop hypertension. So basically, I have to cut out anything high in cholesterol and fat. I also have to take a bunch of supplements and lipitor. I'm also supposed to get at least 45 minutes per day of aerobic/cardio activity. Otherwise I'm on the road to a heart attack...

Pizza does tend to make everything better. Can't wait to see what fun you had at the MK!

What a start! I'm glad you were finally able to get your luggage!! I don't know how I am going to handle my first trip on ME come the fall LOL!!! I know it will all be okay, but I'm really OCD about my luggage! LOL!!

Oh don't worry Jen, ME works wonderfully! That is the most trouble I've had in the five times I've been able to use it!

Ugh! I am not impressed with Disney's text messaging when your room is ready. They never texted Jen & I at SSR back in January and then I got the run around trying to reach the resort so I could find out our room number. Oy!

Free pizza is always good, taste better.

Oh yes, I know now not to bother with the text! And you're right, free food pretty much always tastes good!

I was on the lookout for you but I didn't see you! I only saw two Dissers the whole time! But, I also lost my tag about halfway through our trip! I'm glad you guys had a good check-in! What did you think of CBR?

Well, there were also a TON of cheerleaders and dance groups staying at CBR so they had lot on their hands! They were pretty good but for that! They pizza was great! They make it fresh so it was hot and delicious!

The room looks great! Did you have room to store your luggage? Did you have any issues with the resort buses during your stay? CBR is on my list of resorts to try, but it looks so huge!

Yeah yeah yeah...the doctor scared the living daylights outta me with my "urgent appointment" regarding my bloodwork! In my mind I was dead and buried! I've been on a modified diet and new meds so hopefully that should help straighten things out. And I have been sticking to the exercise thing so hopefully that will make a difference too! But not today, it is gross out! Are you getting all this rain too?! And I promiseto update soon! I'm staying at my mum's right now while she and her DBF are in Winnipeg, but I'll be home on the weekend!

We had plenty of room for lugagge in our room! With only 2 of us, there was room to pread out which was nice. We didn't have any major issue with the busses except that I found they came less frequently and there would be a ton of the same one in a row which is frustrating. For example, sitting there waiting for an Epcot bus and seeing 3 Magic Kingdom ones go by is annoying. We didn't have a need for the internal shuttle but I did see lots of cheerleaders using it! It is definately the biggest resort I've stayed at, too big for my personal taste but my mother loved it! She really liked the beachy-feel of it. But I'm used to staying at POFQ so the size really made an impact on me.

Just got all caught up on your reviews and can't wait for more! I totally sympathize w/ the mom smoking thing. I always bother my mom about it and even thought she wants to quit, she won't! The problem is she doesn't want to do it for her health, she wants to quit b/c it's expensive as hell! So instead of quitting she just went for the cheaper brands. Anyway, keep your reviews coming

It's finally sunny again here! I think it's rained though pretty much everyday since we came home! I love house-sitting for them because I get the place to myself, satellite TV and my mum always buys me groceries! But they're home now and on the mend!

Hi! See, you're lucky in that your mom might actually quit! My mother has absolutely no desire to do so! She says she's been smoking since she was 14 and she's no quitter and there's no point in stopping now!

Hi Everyone! Sorry for the delay! As you may have read, I was house-sitting for my mum and her DBF while they were in Winnipeg for some medical procedures! My Mum's DBF Bob is home safe and sound and is on the road to recovery! And I'm back home too so the updates can keep coming! So here it is, my first evening alone at the Magic Kingdom!

I really do have much better luck with busses when I'm alone! It always seems that when I walk up to a bus stop by myself, the bus I would be waiting for is sitting there waiting for me to get on! And that is exactly what happened! I walked over to our Barbados bus stop and a Magic Kingdom bus was waiting for me like Cinderella's Carriage waiting to take her to the ball!

Let me just say also, that I love MK at night! There's just some extra magic in the atmosphere! It was that beautiful twilight hitting Main Street as I arrived, so I just lingered and walked slowly up the street.

I also took my time at the hub and just spent a few minutes looking at the castle. And my favourite, the Partners statue.

After that, I made my way over to the left and went on Pirates, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, and Haunted Mansion, and then stopped to visit this gorgeous, inspiring tree in Liberty Square before going into Fantasyland:

My visit to Fantasyland was pretty quick because I wanted to get back to Main Street for Spectro Magic and Wishes! But I did start off the trend I love - pictures in 3D glasses! Here I am at Mickey's Philharmagic:

People were giving me funny looks but I don't care! And I know, I know - it's a little blurry! I was having a blast! But, I was starting to lose my energy. It had been a super-long travel-filled day, so I decided I would catch Spectro Magic another night, and just stay for Wishes on this night. Here are a couple of pictures (they're not the best, but they'll do):

After Jiminy Cricket wrapped up the show, I made my way back to the bus stop and went back to CBR for some much needed sleep! What did we do with Day 2? Stayed tuned to find out!

They didn't have chicken while we were there! But they did have turkey! I think my mum must have eaten her weight in it when she ate there by herself! She said it was really good! And she loved the potatoes!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to drop in quickly today. Sorry for the delay! My Dcousin Kyle has been having some troubles and the household has been pretty quiet and close lately so there hasn't been much time for Trip Reporting. I've been spending most of my time with him so we can get him back on track. He should be going back to school tomorrow so I should be able to finally get you guys an update!
