Overrated - Illuminations

Underrated - Astro Orbiter

I hesitate to rank anything as "over rated" because there is such a variety of tastes out there among guests. I'll tell you a couple of attractions that are a "hidden treasure" for me:
1) The American Adventure -I am a sap for the whole thing, from listening to the Voices of Liberty preshow to exiting to the strains of "Golden Wings".
2) The Country Bears Jamboree -It's sweet, simple, and old-fashioned... kinda like me. :tiptoe:

Underrated- Dinosaur, PeopleMover
Overrated- Peter Pan's Flight, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Buzz Lightyear

I don't feel so bad now that we were not able to hit SDMT when we were there

Sorry Declansdad, but to me the show just goes on f o r e v e r! The finale is overkill and I am SOOOO ready to get out of there by the time it is finally over. It is a must-do for DW and she indulges me while I am on thrill rides, so I go for her.

over: 7dmt, test track, mission space

under: people mover, COP, living with the land

Overrated: Illuminations, Peter Pan, anything Frozen related
Underrated: Living with the Land, Peoplemover, Figment (DH's favorite), COP & Hall of Presidents are my mom's favorites!

Eventually, every single ride will have appeared on somebody's Over and on someone else's Under...

But, I get it...just for fun.

Over: OMG: The People Mover. That is the dumbest thing I have ever seen. It's like they built the track and forgot to add the themeing. Riding the parking lot tram at least gets you somewhere.
Under: Tower of Terror: Nothing like it anywhere. Great theme. Unique thrill. Unmatched.

Most overratted ride is Stitch. I am usually all for people having their own opinions and all that but in this case, you are wrong if you like it. I have been in port o potties that were more fun and smelled better. I would rather sit naked I front of my in laws and have them pelt me with wrenches than ride again. I would rather go on a ride at the county fair that had someone just die on it. It is just horrendous and the worst attraction ever at Disney.

Soooo ... largely undecided then? :earboy2:

P.S. Duffy, my favorite part:

I don't think ToT is underrated, but I do see where you are coming from. If ToT had more rides, i would have to say ToT would be underrated :rotfl2:

Interesting perspectives, but especially on SDMT: I think the reason the lines are so long (which contributes to overrated for many people), is that it's the first real(ish) roller-coaster that you can ride with your 4 year old, and have a semi-enjoyable introductory roller-coaster experience! It's not a fantastic coaster, and it's not up there on anyone's list of thrill rides, but it opens up your kids eyes to that world and if they embrace it and throw their hands in the air and scream, it's worth the long waits! Now, if you don't have little kids then seek thrills elsewhere!

Ohh good thread.

Overated: Illuminations. I have tried it twice and get super bored. Fantasmic doesn't do much for me. Kilamanjaro Safari is ok but not worth the long wait in that hot, swampy park. I have no idea why it's Tough to Be a Bug still exists, it has been traumatizing children since I was a tween and had a nervous breakdown as the beloved movie turned into a 3D show of bugs terrorizing me.

Underated: Spaceship Earth, Turtle Talk with Crush, Astro Orbiter, Philharmagic (the flute gets me every time!)
