most underrated/overrated rides?

Overrated: Space Mountain. I love any and all coasters, this is easily the worst I've ever been on.
Underrated: Stitch's Great Escape. Not that it's a spectacular ride or anything, but the amount of hate it gets makes me a bit confused since it's fairly decent.

i was thinking earlier that many rides at disney are so hyped when they aren't even that good, so here's a thread where we can share our thoughts of the most underrated and overrated rides at Walt Disney World.

Out of all of the parks the most underrated rides are the Enchanted Tiki Room and Journey into Imagination. The most overrated rides are Splash Mountain, FEA, and KRR.

Splash overrated? How so?

Over - Space Mountain, Turtle Talk, Seas with Nemo and Friends

Under - Spaceship Earth, Living with the Land, People Mover (LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this thing - okay, maybe because it saved us getting drenched in a torrential downpour)

Most over: Toy Story Mania. Waited in line for over an hour. Was a huge disappointment after I had read so much hype about that ride.

Most Under: Frozen sing along. As an adult male its hard to admit that, but it really is a good show they have put together.

Add me to the list that think Jungle Cruise is a little over rated.

Under rated: Primeval Whirl -at least for my daughter, especially ages 9-11. She wanted to ride it over and over...:crazy2:. It might not be a must do for adults but tweens seems to love it!

not sure these are overrated.. but I would go with
space mountain- painful ride.. but my 7 year old loved it
Kali River- kids loved it but I felt it was way too short.. good thing I had FP
Peter Pan- ugh. I don't think any of us really enjoyed it

underatted I guess would be:
progress show- my kids actually enjoyed that
Dinasaur.. I was cracking up on it.. one kid loved.. one was scared :(

Most overratted ride is Stitch. And yes I know most people hate it but it is still overrated. I am usually all for people having their own opinions and all that but in this case, you are wrong if you like it. I have been in port o potties that were more fun and smelled better. I would rather sit naked I front of my in laws and have them pelt me with wrenches than ride again. I would rather go on a ride at the county fair that had someone just die on it. It is just horrendous and the worst attraction ever at Disney.

The second most overrated for me is living with the land. I guess it was two rides joined together, but there is no story, no cohesion, and no learning on it. I like the boat ride but think they could do something more with it. I guess overall it isn't that popular but most people in message boards rave over it.

For me most underrated is star tours. It is amazing how much it feels like you are moving. I love the randomization and think it just works well to bring you into the Star Wars universe.

My other most underrated is the 3 calebraros. That has a story and is fun. Some elements they need in living with the land.

Overrated: Peter Pan(even though a certain nostalgia comes with it)

Underrated: Philarmagic and Living with the Land

Overrated: Soarin' - it just doesn't appeal to me.

Underrated: The People Mover. There's something about trundling above Discoveryland that I really enjoyed, way more than I expected to.
Right....there....with you on the People Mover. Missed out on riding it this trip and I'm still regretting it.

Most overrated, IMO.....Space Mountain...I like it but after riding it, I always think "that was ok...but I'm done"
Underrated....People Mover and Swiss Family Treehouse. I let people pass by me while I take that treehouse in.

yeah, i love the people mover, and i don't understand why most people dislike it. it's probably one of the most "educational" rides in MK.
it's probably one of my favorite rides at wdw.

overrated - 7DMT, Luckily i got a fastpass from a random person to get on the ride.

underrated- People Mover and Carousel of Progress

Underrated is Spaceship Earth. This is still the classic attraction of what EPCOT was and will never be again.

Overrated is SDMT. It's good but all it is a coaster with 45 seconds of dwarfs. The old Snow White scarey adventures was better.
I think you made a good point and the updates at the end made the ride really enjoyable. I thought it was so much fun that you were featured in a movie!

The people mover is a great ode to disney history. I think its cool you get to see what Walt envisioned when he thought of Epcot. I really hope that is something that sticks around for a long time.

Over: SDMT. It's shorter than the dwarfs are tall. What makes Splash so great is the length of the ride. It never stops and leaves you wanting more. SDMT is over before you have a chance to get immersed.

Under: Lion King Show at AK. I fell in love with that show and it's a must do for me every trip.

Over: Peter Pan (may need to re-think my Dis Name)

Under: Primeval Whirl / Star Tours

BTW>>>can't believe all of the votes for living with the land as under-rated. Just confirms we all have our own unique tastes

Duffywannabe, I'm with you on the Three Caballeros Gran Fiesta Tour. I think we rode that ride about 6 times on our previous trip. One of my favorites.

MK:
Overrated--Tomorrowland Speedway is a complete waste of acreage
Underrated--Carousel of Progress (maybe nostalgic--but I just love the ride)

EP:
Overrated--There is no clear cut overrated ride--but I never understood the allure of the water ride at San Angel
Underrated--Mission Space is a technically awesome attraction that never seems to get its due on this board

DS:
Overrated--Toy Story which amounts to pull a chord till your fingers are numb
Underrated--Star Tours is an attraction I could ride over and over again. Visually one of the best rides Disney has

AK:
Overrated--Tough to be a bug is getting dated with technology
Underrated--Dinosaur is one of my favorites in all of Disney
