Not sure if this is the correct place to ask, so if not let me know and I will ask in the correct forum:

Which has the most lights &/or traffic: Universal Blvd. or Turkey Lake Dr.? :confused3

Both roads are quite long and can have lots of traffic depending on the time of day so it's hard to give a definitive answer.

Where are you coming from and heading to?

Hi, thanks. I figured there would be traffic on either, just wondered if maybe there were less lights on one or the other. If not, then I guess it doesn't matter which one I take. It's only really between Universal Blvd., just south of Sand Lake Road to/from Island's of Adventure.

Thanks for you help, I appreciate it. :goodvibes

It sounds like you are coming from a hotel that is off of Universal Blvd south of Sand Lake. If so, you are best taking Universal Blvd directly to the Universal Orlando parking garage.

Bottom line is you want to avoid Sand Lake between Universal Blvd and Turkey Lake Rd as there can be a lot of congestion in that area, especially during the rush hour period. Non-rush hour isn't too bad, but that area is always pretty busy whereas Universal Blvd tends to have lighter volume.

This is a good thread and I`ll take the opportunity to ask the same question for myself. We will stay at the Marriott Residence inn sea world. My GPS suggests me to take Turkey Lake Rd but I`m curious to see your suggestions.

Turkey Lake Road is the most direct route for you if you're staying in the SW area. Central FL Parkway to TLR...straight to Universal. It normally takes less than 15 minutes but it depends on the time of day.

Both roads will have some traffic but relatively light when compared to International Drive. The only way to determine which to take would be to see where you're coming from.Turkey lake rd is on one side of I-4 and Universal is on the other,Turkey lake will be the better option if you're coming from anywhere near Lake Buena Vista/DTD area, the Sea World area is accessible to both roads and the general west/north side of I-4 like around Dr.Phillips and Restaurant Row.Universal Blvd would be a better choice from anywhere along I-Drive as they basically run parallel to each other.I don't think either road has bad traffic but I prefer Universal blvd to get to Universal as I don't like the Sand Lk rd intersection on Turkey lk rd.
