Most surprising movie twist

I agree about Memento--I just did not get it until the very end. It is definatly a movie worth renting, but you need to be in a certaain mood.

The Game is one of my favorite movies! I love to watch it with someone who has not seen it.

I also liked The Score with Robert Denero and Edward Norton!

"Presumed Innocent" with Harrison Ford.

I totally agree with "The Sixth Sense", "Shattered", and "Usual Suspects".

The thing that totally bugged me about "Sixth Sense" is that I knew there was some big, surprise ending to the movie when I saw it for the first time. I spent the whole movie trying to figure out the twist and never did. Duh!!!!

Most suprising that I liked- Definatly Sixth Sense

Most suprising that I Hated- Pay it Foward....EUGH

Eww... I hated that ending too.

I agree with the Sixth Sense, Seven, Primal Fear, and the Game (although it's been so long since I watched it I don't remember the ending so I could probably watch and surprise myself again ;) ). I love movies with suspense. I had read The Shawshank Redemption before I saw the movie so I knew it then but when I first read it, I think my jaw was on the floor for days :D .

Off the top of my head, I say 'Jagged Edge' with Glenn Close and 'Just Cause' with Sean Connery! I've seen both more than once!

Just so I won't be repeating some of the VERY good movies listed above: "Wild Things" with Kevin Bacon, Bill Murray, Neve Campbell and Denise Richards blew me away. I walked out of the theater shaking my head...

pay it forward and armaggedon.

Growin'upDisney - I also like "The Game" although it's been awhile, I remember that movie just kept twisting, and twisting, and...!

kimber79 - you are absolutely right, the ending to "Vanilla Sky" made me want to throw my TV!!

All the ones you guys have mentioned were great, I especially liked "Signs." Another movie that is a favorite of mine is "Stigmata" with Patricia Arquette, although I'm not sure it technically has a twist.

Oh, oh, I just remembered!! "Dragonfly" with Kevin Costner, very good twist at the end. And my very favorite "What Lies Beneath" with Harrison Ford and Michelle Pfeiffer - very Hitchcockian!!!::yes::

I unfortunately have the worst luck when it comes to movie twists. I somehow manage to accidentally get around people who blurt out movie endings. Every. Single. Time. So I knew who Keyser Soze was, knew what Bruce Willis was, and knew what was down the chick's pants in the crying game. It sucks!

I figured out Identity and it made me mad.

A few others that weren't mentioned that had pretty cool plot twists are Heist, Out of Time, and Bandits.

Not exactly a "twist" but one movie that I truly enjoyed that had a great ending was "Cube."
